"So you lied." the therapist asked with a hint of disappointment. "Again." She added, "It was not really a lie, I just bent the truth." Evelyn tried to persuade her therapist. "No ms. B, you lied. You used it to get out of an uncomfortable situation. You really need to work on your impulsive lying. Also, why didn't you tell me earlier of this event. After all a week already passed" "Yeah I try ,but before I can think, the words already leave my mouth. Also, I forgot about it." A lie. Again. She had in fact not forgotten it, she just refused to face the consequences of her doing. The older woman sighed. "Then it is more important to tell the truth now. Go to your teacher and your friend and tell them." "I can't!" Evelyn was appalled. "Why not?" "Because people will think that I am a bad person and if I tell the truth my PE teacher would also want to know my quirk. I can't tell anyone" The black haired girl insisted. "Well, there is nothing bad about your quirk. It is just like every other quirk." Evelyn's therapist tried to explain. "So I visit this mandatory counselling for fun?" Evelyn mocked. She was feeling like this bitchy therapist was messing with her. "If my quirk was that normal," She imitated her therapists voice, "then why do I have to visit this shitty place every week. So stop trying to convince me that I am completely normal. I am not a child any more." She got up and was now arguing. Glaring at her therapist and scrunching her brows. "Please calm down, ms. B. We can talk about that, sit down, and we will talk." Her therapist was alarmed and got ready to call security in case her young patient wouldn't calm down. "Fine whatever." She huffed and fell back on her chair. Her therapist was relieved, she started taking notes on her writing pad."So, beside your lying, do you have anything else. Something that worries you." the therapist questioned. "Nah, not really, sometimes some impulses here and there but nothing too bad." "Do you have an example?" The middle-aged woman now wanted to know. "Uhm, yeah. Let me think for a minute. There was this girl in my class and she was really pissing me off. When I saw her later near the stairway and thought about just pushing her. Make her pay for annoying me. But I didn't of course." The woman nodded and wrote something down. "I see. That is very good. It is important for you to not act on your impulses. Keep that up." The woman expressed her approval and smiled. With a short glance on the clock, she noted that they had just five minutes left. "Okay, then our session for today ends. I will see you again on Friday and keep in mind that your impulses and bad thoughts are not yours but are caused by your quirk." Before she even finished, Evelyn already stormed out.
"Ah freedom." Evelyn was delighted. She could finally leave the place she liked to call 'her personal hell'. She quickly texted Katsuki who was probably still training.
He accompanied Evelyn to the city centre and they parted there, so that Evelyn could go to her appointment and Katsuki could work out in a sports centre. This centre is mainly used for people to train their quirk but also for different sports like ice skating, martial arts and other activities.
Hearing the familiar sound of her phone ringing she started digging in her purse. Katsuki was calling her. "Oh hi Katsuki, my appointment ended. How are you doing?" She already walked towards the sports centre. "Okay sure." She smiled. Katsuki was still training but he offered her to come and train a bit together or she could get food there and watch a bit. Evelyn was quite content with his offer because he didn't dislike her anymore, or at least she hoped that.
"Hi" Evelyn greeted the blonde who seemed to lift weights. "Hello" he murred putting down the weights he was currently lifting. "How was your appointment?" He inquired. "Yeah it was fine." She quickly shut the conversation down and changed the topic. "How heavy are your weights?" She wondered curiously. "35 kg" "Wow can I try to lift them too?" She now wanted to try as well. "Sure." he answered amused. Evelyn gave her best to lift, but was only able to lift them a few centimetres. "Wow they are heavy." She laughed a bit. "Indeed. If you want I can show you some fighting techniques instead. You don't need to be particularly strong to use them." Katsuki suggested. "Yes I would love that." the black haired girl said exited.
"Okay Idiot, come over." He positioned her in front of him. "So imagine I want to attack you. Yes?" "Yes." "Then there a few things you can do. First of all, you should rather use your elbows and knees to create a stronger force. Also your hands have a lot of small bones which you could break, especially because you are inexperienced." He showed her a few ways to hurt someone with the elbow and knee. "Wow that was pretty easy." Evelyn was enthusiastic to learn more. Especially because she usually isn't a fan of physical activity beside jogging and ice skating.
Katsuki was showing Evelyn how to act when someone grasped her from behind. He was standing close behind her and explaining step to step what to do. In the end she did manage to push him onto sports mat. She helped him up and they decided to quit for today.
Evelyn waited for Katsuki in the entrance area. He quickly showered and changed. Then he took his gym bag and they went on their way home.
