A new year meant that he was a year older than last year and that would mean he was sixteen. It sounded giant. He felt like a real man. He could take on anything. The thoughts ran through his mind as he struggled to not let his arm go down. "Holy cow, you two are surely tied." exclaimed Willy. "Yes but if i could just... Ugh! get him down!" mumbled Charles under extreme pressure. Jonny felt like he wasn't going to win, but then the thought that he was a real man seemed to give him strength and he pushed his brothers arm all the way down. "Well i'll be darned if that was almost a tie." said Willy, whistling. "Well if it hadn't been for the fact that..." Jonny interrupted, "I won. I sure did." "You are right but i'll get you tomorrow." Jonny turned toward Alisha. Her eyes shown in approval. He felt even higher until Pa told him to go take the cows out to pasture with Clem, Karl, and Ben. He skipped and swung up carelessly onto White-Foot's back and ripped off in a swirl of dust. "Yeehaw!" he shouted. Alisha smiled, as Natasha joined her. "He is a crazy boy." she said. "Yeah he is." But I like that about him, no sense of fear. She silently thought to herself. She turned and went inside the house. During the winter the Benson family and Thomas family built a house for the Thomas's and that is where they moved into.
