One delightful late morning Pa exclaimed, "Well I believe it is time for a trip to town." A flurry of excitement rang out through the Benson ranch. Everyone was excited. Pa hooked up Sid and Buck to the wagon and everyone one climbed aboard leaving Willy, Natasha, Jonny, and Alisha home to watch out for indian raids. Soon the nice buckboard buggy was bouncing along down the prairie toward Kraigmont.
It was a peaceful afternoon and Jonny and Willy were hungry. they went into the house and saw Alisha just putting some fried chicken on the table. "Mercy, I am hungry Alisha and look at this delicious food!" exclaimed Jonny. "I made it just for the two of you." she said with that twinkle in her eye. After a delicious lunch, the four of them sat together on the porch step listening to the birds and enjoying the scenery. "You know, I enjoy it here so much. If it weren't for the fact that our parents and our older brother is gone, I think I would be overjoyed." she said. Willy looked at the ground and stared. "Yes I miss your parents too. But maybe it's best to think of our loved ones as we remember them, not as they are now." encouraged Jonny. "If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here three times over. I owe myself to you Jonny." she said. "You have repaid it already. And I never said you were in debt." "I appreciate all of you, Jonny, we have had the time of our lives together." Willy said. "That is the truth Willy, and we will surely enjoy time to come as well." Jonny ended happily.
