Crossroads (Jedi X Reader)

Chapter 2: The Squad

Flashback:

As the ship came in the view became clear as to where she was.
Kashyyyk, the skies dark, the forests in flames lighting up the night sky, Wookiee's taken hostage by the separatists, so much was going on and Kaiya focused on the task at hand, rescue to Wookiee's, and get out alive.

As the ship made contact with the ground Kaiya ran off the ship with two clones by her side, to her left was Commander Gree and to her right was Lockers, she knew both of them very well, Locker's brother Greed was also part of the fight and he quickly rondeaued with her and the boys charging into battle, Kaiya's lightsaber glowing blue alerting the separatists that their was a Jedi among the thousands of clone brothers.

"Come on brothers! Keep pushing forward!"

Commander Gree was in charge of this whole of operation, he wasn't going to back down and retreat, he pushed forward even if it meant many brothers would be lost, he was willing to sacrifice their lives and his own for victory as did all the other clones.

Charging into battle Kaiya focused her mind on fighting, leading the squad up in the front not pulling up the rear in the back, beside her was Lockers and Greed, their dark green armor barely visible, all she could see was blaster fire and flames spreading throughout the trees above.

"For the Republic!"

"Hang in their boys! We're nearly there!"

Kaiya looked up to the boys as much as they looked up to her as a Commanding General, she knew what they were willing to sacrifice and she honored each and every single one of them for their sacrifices they were willing to make.

"General Horada, the separatists have called in air strikes!"

"That's not a worry for us Greed! We have our own forces to take em' out!"

Even though not everyone knew what the plan was, they had a good understanding as to how Kaiya wanted things done.

As battle attack cruisers fly by, their green lasers taking out the enemy's above Kaiya stays on solid ground with the boys advancing heading straight towards the transport where the Wookiee's were held captive until Kaiya sensed a powerful force she's never felt before.

Her mind tightened up, her senses throwing her off completely, she leaves the squad suddenly without question, the troopers ignored her sudden disappearance from the battle and continued on fighting, the clones knew Jedi well and knew they had other plans in mind.

As Kaiya walks away from the active battle she walks around the battlefield passing burned down buildings, fallen debris and fallen troopers along the beaten path, behind her was Greed who decided to tag along and be backup even though she didn't need it, she accepted the support.

"I'm right here with you General."

"Good to see you Greed, stay low."

As she walks throughout the area with Greed by her side, his blaster ready she spots a figure ahead of her in dark robes, the face behind the robes hidden from her.

Kaiya slowed her steps until a red blade appeared at the mysterious persons side. Kaiya retrieved her lightsaber from her belt activating it, the blue glow lighting her face, the red lightsaber still hiding whoever was behind the hood.

"Who the hell do you think you are!"

Whoever it was did not reply to Kaiya and she charged forward with Greed still at her side until Greed was taken in a hold by whoever was the sith Kaiya was facing holding him between Kaiya and the person.

"Greed! Don't move!"

"He's not going anywhere General Horada."

It was a woman's voice, a dark side wielder most likely an agent of Dooku's.
