Chapter 8: Jedi

When Kaiya regains consciousness she finds herself right on top of Crosshair quickly moving herself off of him and helping him up.

"Well that was definitely a Wrecker attempted landing."

"Tech no time for commentary, we have to figure out where we are and get off this rock."

"Kaiya? You alright?"

"I'm fine Master, everyone else ok?"

Kaiya looks around to see everyone still alive with light bruises but nothing to serious.

"Tech, where are we exactly?"
Wrecker asks as Tech looks up from his seat in the cockpit seeing nothing but desert for miles.

"It's mostly just desert for miles. I hope you guys can handle desert."

"Desert? For miles? I know where we are then!"

"Where Kaiya?"

"Tatooine, it's not for everyone. Is the Marauder still flyable?"

"At the moment based on my calculations... no, no it is not."

"Then we'll have to walk on foot then, there's a town not far from where we are, we get their, get supplies we need to fix the ship and head back to Anaxes."

"Sounds like a deal General!" Cody smiles.

"Tech, and Echo and Kix, stay on the Marauder until we get back, it shouldn't take long."

"We can handle ourselves General, go on without us."

"I know you can handle yourself Kix, and I know the both of you can as well. Comm us if something comes up."

Tech nods and Kaiya leads Rex, Jesse, Hunter, Crosshair, Wrecker, and Anakin off the Marauder walking through the desert of Tatooine nothing but flat terrain everywhere they looked.

"So how far away is this city exactly?"

"Well based on where we are, which is obviously the middle of nowhere I would say that were 3 miles from the town."

"And what town is this exactly?"

"Mos Eisley. I've been their a couple times."

"So have I Kaiya."

"I know you have Master."

As Kaiya walks through the desert, sand filling her boots the town comes into view as the suns beam down on the crew.

"Ugh, are we their yet?!"

"Yes Wrecker, we're here."

As Kaiya walks through the town with the team civilians give them strange looks but she ignores it and goes into a supply shop grabbing anything and everything Tech could and couldn't need but Kaiya knew whatever she got for Tech was worth something.

"Ok, I think we got everything."

"Can we just stay here for a little bit and sit under the shade?"

"Wrecker, the sooner we get out of here the sooner our next mission will be, and trust me, I don't think it's gonna be on a desert planet."

"Well then, my mission better not be on a desert planet either."

"Where are you going master?"

"Coruscant, Obi-Wan has informed me that the chancellor wants to speak with me and Obi-Wan on a a private matter I'm afraid I can't tell you about Kaiya."

"I was afraid you were gonna say that."

"I'm sorry Kaiya, this is Jedi business. And your not a part of it anymore."
