Crossroads (Jedi X Reader)

Chapter 6: Courscant

As the Marauder drifts through hyperspace after getting the cargo for the chancellor and heading to Coruscant once again for Kaiya and the batch and hopefully the last time they will need to be there for anything...period.

"Hey Kaiya, you have any idea what's in the cargo?"

"I don't know but I can't tell you Wrecker, we are not busting it open just to sneak into the kaminoan files we do or do not want to know or even be involved in."

"Yes, most likely the files and information that are kept inside of the crate are classified information."

"Yeah, Tech, that's pretty obvious."

"How is it obvious?!" Wrecker blurts out as Hunter grins with a chuckle.

"If you guys are really interested in what is inside the crate good luck convincing Hunter, because he's your sergeant, I'm your commanding general, just because I'm you're general does not mean I am in charge of what you boys do, that's Hunter's position. Wear whatever the hell you want to wear just don't be around me when it happens."

"Very well Gen... Kaiya."

"Is their like a particular nickname we can call you? Instead of Kaiya?" Hunter offers as she places her hand on her chin rubbing it.

"If you really want me to have a nickname, feel free to call me Kira, if you really don't want to say my actual name, thanks for bringing that up Hunter. Kira was what my master nicknamed me when I was just a youngling and so be lucky that I'm allowing you to call me that."

Flashback

"Nicely done Padawan, I could of done better."

Kaiya's lightsaber in her hand, her palms sweaty, her grip on her lightsaber loosing

"Here, take a break."

"No, Master, let's continue."

"You sure Kira?"

"What did you just call me?"

"Kira, thought you could use a nickname for once. Your actual name is hard for us to understand and how we're supposed to say your name."

"Well, if that's what you want my nickname to be, then that's what it'll be, but be honest, who gave you the idea to give me a nickname?"

"That would be me."

Another Jedi says walking up to Kaiya who was pleased to see that it was Obi-Wan, at first Kaiya thought it could of been Rex or Fives but she was mistaken.

"General Kenobi, I wasn't expecting you to be the one who brought up giving me a nickname, but I accept the name, It fits."

"Anakin thought otherwise. Are you ready to go Anakin?"

"Where are you boys going?"

"Apparently Count Dooku has been found on Geonosis and we're going to take care of problems out their. Commander Cody and Captain Rex will be tagging along with us, if you would like to come..." Obi-Wan pauses as Kaiya immediately replies.

"I'd love to go with you! Besides, I enjoy going on missions with my master."

"Very well then, let's get going."

As a transport ship stops in the hangar at the Jedi temple Kaiya and the rest of the crew hop on board and go to Geonosis where things... to keep it simple... unexpected.

As the Marauder approaches Coruscant Kaiya watches out the front window view seeing the city up close once again and closing in on the hangar where she spotted the Chancellor from afar, waiting.
