Chapter 10: Brother

"Do you think she's gonna hate us for what we're doing? Crosshair is the closest person to her, I feel like we're breaking her apart by doing this."

"Relax Tech, I'm sure she'll be fine, she'll be a little pissed with us for a while but that's ok, we'll handle it, as will she. Let me know when she wakes up."

Hunter walks off away from the cockpit where Kaiya was still unconscious sitting in the front right seat, beside her was Tech watching over the controls as the Marauder drifted through the emptiness of space, nothing but millions of stars surrounding the sky around the Marauder.

"Hey Tech! Is Kaiya awake yet?"

"No, not yet Wrecker and I'm positive she doesn't wanna wake up seeing you pacing around her every couple of seconds."

"Yeah, you got a point."

"That's why your the smart one Tech."

Omega adds going over to Kaiya lightly looking at her as she breathed softly, her eyes lightly moving.

"Tech, I think she's waking up."

Tech turns around in his chair to face Kaiya noticing her eyes twitching a little.

Tech placed his hand on her shoulder Kaiya quickly feeling his hand against her shoulder snapping awake gripping onto Tech's neck holding him up against the panels on the wall.

"KA...IYA..."

"KAIYA LET GO OF HIM!"

"KAIYA! DROP HIM!"

Kaiya quickly snapped out of it letting Tech go to collect his breathe and sit back down while Hunter and Omega worriedly looked at Kaiya who was to stunned and dizzy to think or speak.

"Kaiya? Take a breathe."

"You stunned me... you fucking stunned me you fucking son of a bitch!"

"There was no other way, I wasn't going to allow you to bring Crosshair with us."

"Why though?! Why Hunter? Why did we leave him? You do realize he's our brother right?"

"I know that Kaiya, and I'm sorry."

"You shouldn't be sorry about this, if you were we would of brought him with us."

"He tried to kill us Kaiya, we weren't gonna let that happen."

"Just, stop talking Hunter, leave me alone."

Kaiya walks off over into her room laying down on her bed looking up at the ceiling until she felt sick going over to the back where the bathroom was throwing up in the toilet, Wrecker immediately hearing her from where he was going over to the door checking on her from outside the door.

"You alright Kaiya?"

"Yeah... Wrecker, I'm ok."

"You sure?"

"Wrecker, I told you already, I'm fine."

Kaiya stays in the bathroom for awhile before heading back to her room where she looked through her bag finding that her friend on Coruscant, Cera, left behind two pregnancy tests.

"Oh my god Cera, you really do think I would get pregnant, well, I guess it's worth s hot."

As Kaiya pulls out one of the tests she returns to the bathroom to do the test then waits beside the wall not even wanting to look at the results as her whole body tensed up, her hands shaking.

Everything around her was quiet until she heard Hunter call her name.

"Hey Kaiya?"

"Yes Sergeant?"
