⇝ we never go back to that bloodshedThe whole time she laid there, unmoving breathing at a normal rate, hearing the voices of those she didn't recognize, Norm and Max had been by her side, for a week now they had been on the island but were preparing themselves to leave back to the forest after seeing no signs of her walking up.
except when Norm ears jerked at the heart monitor picking up its rate, he stepped away from the box towards the machine. Amiryat couldn't feel anything below her chest when she woke up, numbness hit her without her actually feeling it, slowly fluttering her yellow eyes open with a slight headache, "Max, she's waking." A male voice echoed through her ears as he towered over her laying form, "can you hear me?" He asked her but all she saw was a blurry figure.
Norm brought a mini light over passing it through over her eyes, "she okay, she's just adjusting to the light, Amiryat can you see how fingers I'm holding." The male avatar asked raising three fingers but to the girl they looked like goo.
"Uh, there's uh..." Amiryat blinked opening and closing her mouth, feeling how dry her throat was. "—three... fingers." She squinted her eyes. "yeah, three." She tried to moved but her body was to tried. "No, lay back down, you shouldn't move right away." Norm gently pushed her back onto the cot.
"We should get Jake, he needs to know she's awake," Max mentions to him, moving to the entrance, Norm sighs debating if he should call the male na'vi. "We should let Amiryat rest for a few hours before getting him, she'll be a lot better." Without another word from either of them, Amiryat fell back to sleep.
By the time Amiryat woke up it was late in morning, the sun was still bright as ever as she listened to the na'vi children playing around outside the hunt she laid in, glancing around the room to see that she was alone, she slowly rose from the bed with a groan then pushed herself to sit up straight.
Glancing down to her chest, was a gauze overlaying where she got hit, her arm was hugging her stomach as it was held with a sling as the humans would call it, it was colored baby blue, she remembered having the exact color when she was a baby.
Swinging her legs around the cot, cracking her neck wincing at her arm. She wiggled her toes slowly missing the feeling of being able to move her body, glancing once again around the hunt, she spotted a fire pit with grey smoke rising from it, it had been just been burned out.
Slowly raising from the cot, exhaling when her bones crack at each step she took, squinting her eyes, "oh god!" She cried forgetting how bright the real world was. Blinking a few times she adjusted to the sun, some people passed her with shocked eyes.
"Amiryat!" A small voice broke her out of her daze, tunring to the voice she found her youngest sister dropping whatever she had in her hands and run towards her, Amiryat smiles kneeling down as Tuk threw herself onto her, wet tears hitting her shoulder. "You're awake, you're awake." The young girl muttered to herself, smoothing her hair.
