Morning Sickness

If you would have told me 4 months ago I would be pregnant I would've laughed in your face, but here I was currently 18 weeks pregnant. It came as a shocker to me honestly because the one slip up we had I took a plan b and well as you can tell it didn't work.

My little baby also made sure to remind me they were living inside of me. Morning sickness has honestly been hell I can say. Constantly running to the bathroom to throw up and even some times I would just feel nauseous. My doctor told me eventually it would go away on its own, but some women do experience morning sickness throughout their whole pregnancy.

My boyfriend was NBA player Jordan Poole and he has been amazing these past 4 months, but of course since its the middle of basketball season he's on the road a lot and not able to be here as much. Its been trying, but honestly I thank God for Ayesha Curry, she's been helping me out being that she's experienced this 3 times.

Luckily the boys are coming up on a 3 day game break which means my man will be able to be with me for 3 days, we also would be using this break for our baby's gender reveal. Jordan's wishing for a boy of course and me on the other hand would just love a healthy baby regardless of the gender.

I was currently in the kitchen fixing me some avocado toast, I found out this was one of the many meals that help combat my nausea. As I placed the bread into the toaster I heard the front door unlocking. Butterflies immediately begin to fly around my stomach as that was indication my man is home.

"Babygirl!" I heard him call out.

"In the kitchen my love." I replied. Soon enough the 6'4 man made his way into the kitchen and over to me.

"How we doing." He said planting a kiss on my forehead and then planting one on my exposed small baby bump.

"We're doing pretty good right now." I said smiling down at him.

"Are you excited to find out the gender this week." He asked as I went back to making my toast.

"Yess, can't believe in 5 months there's going to be a little us in the world." I said smiling from ear to ear.

"And I couldn't imagine a more beautiful woman to carry my precious cargo. How's your morning sickness?" He asked me.

"Its honestly so much better in comparison to month 1 and 2, but it's still hell." I said putting the finishing touches on my toast .

Jordan leaned down to my stomach, "Hey little buddy, whatever Botton you're pressing on to give momma nausea, lets move away from it please.... she gets mean when she don't feel good." He said causing me to laugh and gently slap his shoulder from the last comment.

"Try having a baby on your bladder while causing sickness and fatigue and see what kind of mood you be in." I said and suddenly a huge wave of nausea came over me.

I threw my hand over my mouth and did a little run to bathroom, making it there I released everything I ate this morning. Jordan came in behind me and held my hair for me, rubbing my back. Once I finished I brushed my teeth and washed my face with a cold wash and just walked to the bed to lay down. Every time I throw up I feel so drained and tired.

"Do you need me to get you anything?" Jordan asked walking into my view.

"For you to just lay with me please." I said looking at him.

"Anything for you love." He said laying besides me. "Turn on your back for me."

Turning on my back he scoot himself down a little bit, to rub and talk to my bump.
