Here I was in the room currently making sure I had everything for a surprise vacation from my boyfriend of 3 years; Jordan Poole. Jordan and I had been best friends since the 8th grade and went to high school together. I always had a crush on him, but he was too focused on basketball to noticed, so I kinda just kept it to myself. Our senior year we went our separate ways I went to University of California, Berkeley and he went to the University of Michigan. We kept in as much contact as possible; of course it got challenging along the way, but we made it work. In 2019 Jordan ended up getting drafted to the NBA which shocked the hell out out of me, but I knew it was his dream. What shocked me even more is he was coming to California, Oakland to be specific as he was now a Warrior.
He and I went from being 35 hours apart to 20 mins apart. In the time span of us reconnecting physically, my feelings for Jordan begin to heighten to the point I no longer could keep hiding them. I text him to meet me at our spot which was the Golden Gate View Point and I would confess my feelings to him. Here we are 3 years later and now a couple and I couldn't be more happy.
Jordan has honestly been such a great supportive boyfriend. Currently in the off season and our 3 year anniversary coming up, Jordan decided to take me on a surprise vacation.
"Hey baby do you need anything else before we leave out?" Jordan asked coming into the doorframe.
"Umm I don't think so. I got our passports and we're all packed up so we should be good." I replied smiling at him.
"Cool cool, our driver is here, so I'm going to head down and you just look around make sure everything's good, then lock up for me." He said grabbing both of our suitcases and leaving out the door.
After I double checked making sure I had everything we needed, things were good, and locking up I made my way down to get into the car.
"Soooo you're going to tell where we're going that we have to prepare for a 10 hour flight?" I asked as the driver begin making way to the airport.
"Open this my love." Jordan said handing me a red envelope, smiling at me.
Opening the envelope I seen it contained our board passes:

"PARIS!!! Omgggg!!" I scream pulling Jordan into my arms.
"I remember back when you had your sweet 16 it was Paris, France themed because it was your number 1 dream vacation, so from that day forward I've always wanted to be the one to take you. Granted I didn't know we'd be a couple, but I'm glad we get to experience the city of love together." He said placing kiss on my lips.
"I love you Jordan." I said placing repeated pecks on his lips.
"I love you more Bri." He replied.
Once we arrived at the airport Jordan and I begin to make our way to our gate to board the plane. Not only were we going to Paris, but we were flying first class as well. I couldn't believe Jordan remembered this being my top dream vacation spot as my 16th birthday was 7 years ago.
