Y/N Pov

I walked into my apartment after an interesting night at the club. I let out a deep sigh as I dropped my keys on the table, plopping down on the couch. I had been working at Club Exotic for a while now to support me through school. It wasn't ideal, but I needed a way to pay for tuition and fees. Nobody knows that I'm a dancer and I intend to keep it that way. The nights I dance I kinda disguise myself to be unrecognizable. The low lights in the club serve as additional help in hiding my true person.

I pulled out my phone mindlessly scrolling through my Instagram. I went through my recents likes coming across one name in particular "jordan_poole liked your post" I clicked on his profile and my eyes went wide as I seen the same boy I danced for under my picture. I begin to wonder how he even found me. Did he know who I was before dropping a band on me last night. I simply just brushed off the thought seeing as though he's a basketball player, tonight was probably the last time I'd see him.

I just locked my phone and begin to prepare for bed after a loving shift. I would doing it all over again tomorrow because tuition was due in a few days and I needed all the money I could make. As I was falling off to sleep I felt my phone begin to buzz; letting out a small groan I turned over grabbing it. 'jordan_poole would like to send you a message' I rolled my eyes, no way did this man really end up DM'ing me. I gazed over the message a little more, then turned on my side and went off to sleep not thinking anymore of it. Not to mention I also had class in the morning, his message definitely could wait til the morning.

Jordan P.

The boys and I left the club around 1:30 am and here I was alone again. I looked at the message I had just sent to the girl's picture that was yet again on my explore page. I didn't know why but her features were quite familiar, but I thought nothing of it. She had a small chokehold on me and didn't even know I existed.... that says a lot. Seeing as it was now a little after 2 am, I wasn't expecting a response back, so once I sent the message, I went off to sleep to prepare myself for practice on tomorrow.

...

My alarm blared through my room signaling me that it was time for me to get up for practice. I groaned a little thinking to myself why'd I let them convince me to go out last night knowing we had practice at 10 am. I sat up just staring into space for a little to gain comprehension. Finally feeling woke enough I pushed my covers back and slid from my bed, making my way to my bathroom.

I completed my hygiene and threw on a black 'Warriors' tank with black workout shorts. Placing my shoes on and grabbing my things, I put some food into Kai and Kota's bowls before heading out to the Warriors practice facility. I lived about 20 mins from the facility so typically I'm the first one to arrive before the other players. Pulling into my respective parking spot, I got out and headed into the building. I was still feeling groggy and tired from last night, but I would just push through this practice and go home later to get more rest. I don't think I'm going out with the guys again for while. I walked onto the court placing my things down, rummaging through my bag for my beats wireless headphones.

"Yo, good morning JP." I heard Steve call out as I pulled them out, connecting them to my phone.

"Wassup coach." I responded dapping him up into a brotherly hug.

Soon the other players begin to arrive. Today we'd be working our shot selection, creating better screens, and of course defense. We'd also be given time to choose what we'd like to work on more personally. For me it would be shot selection. Lately during games I can admit I hadn't been making the best choices when it came to making shots, also I wanted to work on limiting my turnovers. I clicked on Apple Music turning on my 'Practice Playlist'. For the next 30 minuets I begin to just practice my shooting skills, I guess I was so into what I was doing I hadn't even hear Steve call us over to a small huddle. That was until Looney came and tapped me on the shoulder pointing to the huddle that was currently form around coach. I removed one my beats wireless buds to give him my attention.
