I will be closing early if I don't have anymore customer in 30 minutes and i can finally rest and close my bakery
"it's been 23 minutes and still no customer yes i can go home earl-" just when i think I'm finally done with my job the bell in the door step suddenly rang "anddd i jinx it"
A male with dark hair with a closed eyes entered my bakery he kinda looks like 18+ (which is not true 💀) "ah hello how may i help you" i gave him a smile "hmmm can i get this and this and probably this" he just keep pointing at probably almost all of the desert and sweet breads i have here "alrighty I'll be getting all of that for you" after i got all the things he bought "that will be exact 1,000 yen" "ah wait let me just call my friend to pay for that"....is he seriously bothering his friend just to pay for his food ahh this kid is something else (for the ppl who doesn't know what's ranpo's age it's 26)
After some time a kid with gray-ish hair entered which i assumed to be his friend "miss how much did all the food my friend over there cost?" He ask kindly while pointing at the dark haired boy "it's exactly 1,000" the kid with gray-ish hair sweatdrop when i said that "ah wait let me just check my wallet" he started checking his wallet which I waited patiently
The boy with gray-ish hair started shaking his wallet upsidedown "uh i only have 700 yen in my wallet" he sweatdrop again i kinda feel bad for him his immature friend decided to bother him and make him pay for his food while he is just eating in the corner probably waiting for the gray-ish haired boy to finish paying for HIS food "ah that's alright" i gave him my kindest smile "thank you so much miss I'll promise I'll pay you back" "oh-no it's fine you don't have to pay back it's totally fine" he look at me guilty that he doesn't have anymore money to pay for the food
"Thank you so much miss!" "It's not a problem but maybe you should always remind the friend of you to always bring his wallet" i was looking at the dark haired boy annoyingly "will do" he bowed and left with the dark haired boy
"Well that was kind of interesting i need to close now"
