After I woke ranpo because we we're already at the destination which is in Tokyo it was far I know but something is happening here that no one can explain because they all die when they see it and because I know how to fight and ranpo's intelligence everyone thought it will be a great idea to partner us up especially because of my ability too

"What do you think is happening here?" I asked the smart detective

"No evidence no idea but it's definitely cause of an ability" he replied back

"Hm well this will be quite dangerous" I said because of my anxiousness I'm overthinking this shit

"Do you think we'll die if we saw it? " I asked again

"That is where I'm not sure"

"Well this will be a tough mission" i said to myself

"But I'm sure we won't die..maybe" he said finishing his sentence causing me to me more anxious about it

"Just kidding don't take it to heart" he said

"Ugh I hate you" i said

"I know you don't so don't even try pulling that on me" he said confident

"Yea sure sure" i said rolling my eyes walking away

He soon realized i was about to leave him "hey wait!"

(Time skip)

"So where's the body of the last victim?" I asked the police

"It's over there miss" he said pointing at a alley

"Alright" i said before going to the direction he had said to while ranpo just followed me

"Wait kids aren't aloud to the crime scene"the police said to ranpo

"Oh uh sir his not a kid" i said sweatdropping

"Then why does he look like one and his literally sucking on a lollipop like a child" he said back

I saw ranpo furrowed his eyebrows "I'm 26 for your information your LITERALLY younger than me" he said back

"How can someone like you be 26 you look like a kid"

"For the last time I'm not a kid " he said in defence"plus how could you just judge someone without knowing them"

"Let's just go ranpo" i said before grabbing his hands and lead him to where the crime scene is

I heard a 'tch' sound but ignored it probably the arrogant police

(At the crime scene)

"There's so many police here i can't see anything" i said while ranpo just nod agreeing

"Let's just squeeze in" ranpo said before suddenly grabbing my hand and squeeze inside the crowd

After we had squeezed in i saw the body all torn up and have missing parts

I gagged at the sight

"I don't like this anymore" i said while turning around covering my eyes

I never like this sorta thing only on movies because i know they're fake and they can't touch me but in real life it feels more chilly

Especially when it looks like that

I was slightly tearing up because of having a panic attack when i suddenly felt something of someone? Wrapping something around me and when i looked at my side it was ranpo hugging me wrapping his arms around me while putting my head on his chest

"You don't have to look alright" i heard him softly says but i couldn't look to his face because he was slightly pushing my head on his chest protectively so i couldn't look at the body

I buried my face on his shoulder coat calming down a bit

"Just pretend you didn't see anything alright calm down" he said in a soothing way

"Do you wanna go out of here right now I'll just be the one invistagating so you wouldn't get a panic attack"

I shaked my head not wanting to be separated from him

"No i wanna stay here with you"

"But you'll see the body"

"But I don't wanna leave"

"Fine but don't look alright"

I nodded

"Good"

He removed his shoulder coat and put it on my head blocking my vision

"I'm going to investigate the body so I'll come closer to it use that as a cover so you won't see it"

"Alright"

Ranpo grabbed my hand guiding my every move to not accidentally step on blood or anything that won't be very good to see

(Time skip bc i run out of idea on what they gonna do there)

We had done invistagating but we have no leads because no weapon was use but rather than an ability

"Ohh look y/n ice cream!" Ranpo said jumping a little like a child

"Do you want one?"

"Yes!" He said almost immediately

"Alright what flavour do you want?" I asked him while walking to the ice cream shop

"Chocolate with a drizzle of caramel with crumbs of cookies and with extra chocolate"

"You sure have a sweet tooth huh"

After i had order ice cream for ranpo we we're sitting on a booth at the shop while i sit while closing my eyes

"Y/n"

"Hm?" I opened one of my eyes

"Why didn't you get one for yourself"

"It's fine" i said before closing my eyes again

Suddenly i felt something cold on my lips and I opened my eyes

"Hu-" before i could finish saying 'huh' the ice cream got shove on my mouth

"You should eat one too it's good you know"

I taste the soft ice cream that just gotten shoved on my mouth tasting a little sweet because of the toppings

When ranpo fulled the ice cream off my mouth sure that i got to taste some

"You should get one dates are not fun when only one person is eating" he said

"Yea su- wait date?" I asked

"Yea? Isn't this a date"

"...i-"

"Just go get yours"he said

"Um yes sure.." i said standing up having blush on my face

"Don't forget to remove your blush by the way!" He said which made me more red from embarrassment

I literally suck at this

(Ik ranpo is smart but he still kinda needs more evidence to solve a crime even if it's a small one)

Let's just say that person have the same intelligence as ranpo so he knows how to hide ;-;
