"Ofcourse because the great detective is here with you!" Ranpo said proudly

"Yes ofcourse but we still have no leads"

"...okay shush this person just have same iq as me so I can't find them"

"I mean who can compete with me unless they have the same iq as me"

As we were walking i seem to have saw a tint of purple light in a alleyway

"Hey ranpo I think i saw something over there" i said pointing my finger in the direction

"Oh let's see maybe it can be one of the hint"he said walking on the alleyway with me behind him

As we enter ranpo put a hand on my eyes

"Huh?-"

"Dead body"

"Oh..."

"This criminal is not leaving a single trace here it'll be hard to know what's going on" he said his hand still in my eyes covering it

"It must be rotten because i can smell it already"

"It's not...it looks like it just gotten killed but they putted a rotten flesh besides it I don't like the smell"

"Should we get the police?"

"Not yet we can't have them thinking I'm a kid again it's annoying" he said i can almost feel his pouting face because of his tone despite my eyes having covered

"Well i guess we can investigate for now without the police i guess"

"I'm having second thoughts because of the smell"

I heard y/n laugh i guess my attempt of lighting the mood up worked

Well i mean everything i do works

"Well i think you wouldn't want to see the dead body so you're just gonna turn around while i investigate"

I turned her around from the dead body so she wouldn't see it

"Alright I'll investigate it now you'll take notes"

"Did you find anything"

"No except this scalpel"

"A scalpel that's weird isn't that for doctors?"

"Well there's changes that this person is a scientist or a doctor psychopath"

"Well atleast we had a hint"

"Well this scalpel being put here is just a coincidence because it was inside the body means that person forgot it there"

"Should we call the police now?"

"Yea"

The police invistagate the body while i help ranpo explain about the scalpel and he was not a child to be here

Maybe ranpo is just cute that's why he looks like a child

I shake my head attempt to remove this thoughts

"That officer is annoying why do they keep thinking I'm a kid"

"I don't know too probably because you act like one"

I realized he heard that but i thought he wouldn't pay mind to it since he's a kid-adult

"I just boosted your ego great"

"Well it's getting late let's go back now" he said as he turns to a corner on the left

While i turn to the right "our hotel is in the right ranpo"

Then he stopped walking and turns to the right

"I know I'm just messing with you"

"Sure"

"Believe me!"

"I might not be the Greatest detective but i know you're lying"

"No!"

Then the night was full of our bickering
