First day

I walked out of the house after doing what normal person would do before going to work

"Well this will be a long day i guess" i said as i walk inside the agency

"Good morning" i said as everyone in the room looked at me "uhh is something wro-"

"GOOD MORNING" the blond kid said which i know as kenji everyone intruduce their self yesterday but some people are not here yesterday so not entirely everyone

"Good morning kenji-san" i said in my soft and calm voice

"Y/N YOUR 10 MINUTES LATE" i heard the blond hair man say who is kunikida i heard he's obsessed with ideals

"Haha- sorry about that"

"Do you know how long ranpo had been waiting for you" he sigh "uh ranpo?"

"That's me" i heard a voice said

I turned around to see who it is and my eyes widen

It was him again "oh good morning ranpo-san" i said trying hard to not show my annoyance in him

"Hm yah let's just go I'm already bored" he said walking out leaving me to just follow him

(Time skip)

Ranpo was a pain in the ass he can't even buy a train ticket for himself and he is also lazy and would bug you to carry him because he is tired

Right now I'm literally carrying an adult baby "are we there yet?" He ask

"For the last time no" i said sighing

Not even 5 seconds later

"Are we there yet?" He asked again "if yiu ask again I'm going to drop you and not carry you anymore"

And he finally shuts up or that's what i thought

"Hey look a candy store" he said jumping out of my back "oi we don't have time fo-" before i could finish he shush me up by holding my hand and pulling me inside the store

(Time skip{again})

We were finally here and he was just licking his lollipop

"So what's the case??" The dark haired detective said clearly bored

"Well this woman was found dead in her room and it seems to be suicide we just don't have solid proof" the police said

'this is clearly not suicide' i said to myself already knowing someone killed her

And unfortunate for me the 'great detective ' seems to know i already know the answer

"Why don't we let her solve this" the detective said pointing his lollipop at me "what aren't y-"

"Let's see how many second you can deduce this" the damn detective said

I sigh in defeat "well this is clearly ain't suicide as you can see" i said lifting up the victims coat reaveling a burned part of her body "this is made by a small bomb" everyone's eyes widen except for ranpo ofcourse

"And her hair is a little burned and looks like it got hit by a lighting and only bombs or explosion can do that and her coat seems to be fireproof and the coat is kinda big to be hers" i said to them "I'm guessing this is made by that bowl cut lemon dude"

"What she said is right" ranpo said to them "then time to go!" The baby detective who's in an adult body said walking away and i just followed him

(Time skip again)

"Well that case was kinda easy" i said without realizing the baby adult is still with me

"Yea" i almost jumped at his voice "i thought you were gone guess not"

Some people are giving us weird looks because ranpo looks like he's a baby duck following his mother duck

I sigh at this and grab his hand and pull him close to me and continue walking

The detection seems to be caught off guard with this and he blush a little which goes unnoticed by me

And we have arrived at the agency

"We are back" i said as i entered "welcome back y/n and ranpo" i heard yosano say and as soon as she looks at us her eyes fell on me and ranpo's tangled up hand

"Yosano?" I said her name on a question manner "it's nothing~" she said chuckling in a suspicious tone

And then i realized i was still holding ranpo's hand my face redden a little

And i immediately let go of his hand "uh anyway I'll right a report about the case"

"Yea do that~" yosano said in a teasing manner
