Normal POV

It's only been a couple of days since the Republic retook Geonosis. But in the Jedi Temple, a young man is breaking, an emotional pain is seeping through some cracks that he thought he had sealed years ago. He has tried his best to not let it show through, but it's still noticeable even if the Jedi can't sense it through the force. He's spent a lot more time training and working on new technologies in a workshop. He still checks in with his friends and commanding officers but other than that has kept to himself mostly.

This unusual isolationism that the young man is acting upon had raised some concerns within the council, especially that of Obi-Wan and Shaak Ti, the two council members that know the young man the best.

"I worry for Thomas," Obi-wan said with concern, "Ever since Geonosis, it's like he's a changed person."

"Sense it too, I do," Yoda agreed, "One doesn't need the force to see the suffering he's enduring."

"From what Padawan Tano said in her report, Private Sullivan is experiencing some PTSD from his past," Ki-Adi mundi enlightened.

"While he is a guest in our temple, he is still a soldier" Windu said coldly, "He should be able to put aside his feelings for duty."

"Master Windu with all due respect, we're talking about a young man who's gone through some traumatizing experiences in his life, long before he enlisted in the GAR," Shaak Ti spoke up, "Also, he's not like a clone who's bred to put aside their feelings for the sake of duty."

"Left untreated, his PTSD shouldn't be," Yoda spoke, "Help our young friend needs."

"I should be the one to help him," Obi-Wan said in response, "I'm one of the ones he knows the best besides Anakin and Ahsoka."

The other council members nodded in agreement. "Decided it is," Yoda spoke, "Help young Sullivan, you will. Help him find his way again."

"It will be done masters, for our sake, and Thomas' as well."

Obi-Wan stood up and left the council chambers to go find his friend from another galaxy.

Thomas POV

Ever since I got back from Geonosis, I've been trying to take my mind off the nightmares I've been having from my past. The way I've been doing so is studying up on lightsaber techniques and different forms. I don't have a lightsaber since I'm not a Jedi so as an alternative, I've been using some handheld weapons called electro-batons, that way in case I encounter this Sith that the Jedi have been talking about, I'm able to at least not get turned into spaghetti by them.

Another way I have been coping with my PTSD is building new gadgets that only a sci-fi nerd could dream of in a workshop within the temple. One of the gadgets was an Arc reactor from Iron man. Thanks to some advanced tools I learnt how to use from my time on Kamino, I was able to create a working model in a couple days. While brainstorming, I remembered what Kal Skirata, the Mandalorian warrior that taught me everything on combat.

What really make the Mandalorians stand out to me was the fact that they used jetpacks to make quick getaways as well as use them as weapons. Upon further inspection, it looks like they use brute engine force to be able to fly, which as a result limited the top speed of flight. I remembered in a game called Just cause 3 there was a dlc that allowed the use of a rocket powered wingsuit, which allowed the player to fly faster with better mobility. So, I decided to recreate that, using the Arc reactor as the power source.
