Also, I got other ideas in mind for other stories so stay tuned for that. Anyways, I'll let y'all enjoy the final chapter.

Wastelands of Mortis

Normal POV

After the death of the daughter, the balance of the force has now tipped in favor of the darkside, as the darkside incarnate, the Son, has teamed up with the ancient sith, Darth Cybran, to escape the planet they see as a prison. Only issue is they need the ship belonging to the Jedi and the soldier to be able to depart from Mortis. Unfortunately, the ship was damaged following a chase between the Son and Anakin after the Son had abducted Ahsoka. Repairs were being attempted by Ahsoka and her lover, Thomas, who was still recovering mentally from fighting and losing Ahsoka, as well as the confrontation with Cybran.

However, the problem with the Sith lord is far from over.

Cut to the two Jedi conversing while taking shelter from the storm.

"I'm getting a little tired of how unreliable the weather is here," Obi-Wan commented.

"Some might say that's part of the appeal," the former padawan replied.

Obi-Wan then turned to face his old apprentice, "You did well, Anakin," the ginger Jedi said, "How do you feel?"

"I'm not sure we're doing the right thing by leaving," Anakin sighed, "The son is consumed by the darkside."

"And if we stay," Obi-Wan countered, "We may be used to the dark side's advantage."

Then both Thomas and Ahsoka crawled up from underneath the ship after attempting repairs.

"So," Thomas began, "Do you want the shit news, or the REALLY shit news?"

"Let's try the bad news," Obi-wan answered, "Laced with a little optimism."

"We've got two cracked shilo pins, a busted power converter, the engines should be fired twice to dump debris, and the backup vents need charging," Ahsoka said.

"Sounds terribly downbeat," Obi-Wan commented.

"Kinda hard to be optimistic when you got all that to try and fix Obi," Thomas said, jumping back down with Ahsoka.

"Can it be fixed?" Obi-Wan asked.

"I can reroute the primary initiator, Thomas can weld the dampening vents, and that might give us enough power to leave the atmosphere," Ahsoka answered.

"I can also use my arc reactor to give us a little more juice," Thomas added, "Though I'm not sure how well that would work. It's not meant to power such a large device, but with the power output it's making, I believe it should work."

"What about your repulsor engine pack?" Obi-Wan asked.

"That shit got busted when I fell off that cliff," Thomas replied bitterly, "And of course, I can't fix it because I don't have Ashla nor the proper equipment with me."

"We'll take our chances then," Obi-Wan said, "Better than staying here."

Then Anakin walked out of the shuttle with a collapsable speeder bike. This piqued Obi-Wan's interest.
