Chapter 18: A hangout or a date?

Jedi Temple, Coruscant

Thomas POV

It's been over three weeks since I got hospitalized by the Zillo beast, and a lot has changed in that time. For starters, by some miracle, Myles found his way to Coruscant and found me. To say I was lost for words was an understatement. We ended up hugging it out while crying like little kids into each other's shoulders. Of course, people were watching but we didn't care. All that had mattered was that I my family had found me again after I lost them.

Speaking of Myles, General Secura actually asked him to help her lead the 327th along with Commander Bly, to which he accepted graciously. Aayla let him keep his title of Captain and is now teaching the boys of the 327th about how the marines did it back on earth. From what he told me, they were impressed by his tactics as well as weapon choice.

I also shown him some weapons of mine, including the Darksaber, to which his jaw dropped. He asked if I built it and I said hell no, I can make an arc reactor but not a weapon like the DarkSaber. Nevertheless, he was impressed with the weapon as well as my other weapons I had.

He asked about how I was able to fly and I told him about the wingsuit I built along with my grapple gauntlets. I told him I could make him one as well. As for the lightsaber, I wasn't so sure. He's always been more guns blazing, even more than me. Plus, learning how to wield a sword with no weight on the hilt is difficult enough.

The forge for the metal I need to make my ammo was recreated on Obi-Wan's, Anakin's, and Aayla's Venator cruisers. Of course, I would need that incase I was stuck with either of those 3 generals, and for Myles as well since he wanted to keep his HK from earth, and the 1911 as well. I had Ashla make him some armor like mine as well as an A.I to which he named Elvira, like that one song the Oak Ridge Boys sang. I also made a grenade launcher attachment for his HK as well.

As for me, I've been recovering from the incident. Ahsoka has been a little, how should I say this? Clingy ever since I got hurt again. Not that I'm complaining, she's been a big help for my recovery. Like helping with physical therapy, checking up on me every now and then. She's been giving me updates on missions and what's been happening.

Yesterday was my official release back to active duty, and I've been trying to get back into shape to make up for lost time. I've set up some workout equipment similar to earth and have been using that ever since. I dressed up into some shorts and tennis shoes along with some gloves, and decided to go shirtless as I would think no one is watching. I was doing some pull ups on the pull up bar and was playing some heavy metal/rap while I was working out. The song playing was "Human" By Rag'N'Bone Man.
