Part 22 - Unexpected appearance

Sophie's POV

I was so grateful to God that we were able to get out of the weird vibes of being followed. I and Alice shopped a lot, from sneakers to matching face caps. Though I also bought somethings I would be needing for the rest of the school year.

It was amazing, just the two of us shopping and having fun, something we have done in a while; we both had extra money so we decided to use some and spoil ourselves a little.

We shopped till evening, entering different shops and trying their sample deserts and other fun stuff. "Hmmmm this is yummy" Alice groaned in pleasure as we ate the slices of apple pie "yeah Its pretty good huh?" She nodded happily in agreement. We continued to talk and gist the rest of the day, then later headed back with our new stuff.

We walked into the room and dropped all the heavy bags on the floor. "Wow we bought a lot" I sighed looking down at the bags
"Yeah but...." Alice smirked dangerously at me "but what..?" I asked my brows confused
"do you know what could be more fun?" Her smirk getting more worrying to me

"Karaoke!!!"

"What!? No. No no no no. No!" I repeated feeling exhausted already of the conversation
"Urrgh Sophie!" She groaned "think fun for once! We'll soon graduate from school and still, you don't wanna have fun Sophie" she held my shoulders "be free Sophie we can't be young blabbering teenagers anymore. We're growing, girl. We need to experience life when we're young not when we're 50yrs!" I smiled and rolled my eyes, she always gave weird instances.

"Alice please i-"

" 'can't?'. No I'm not taking 'can't' as an answer" she folded her arms. I face palmed my self "seriously Alice"

"Yep. You better come" I smiled at her and winked at me and we both laughed "alright! Fine. I'll admit I lack the word 'fun' huh?"
I asked her.

She came over and hugged me then pulled back and looked at me "that's why you have me darling≈" she cooed "Now! Let's go. I already got someone who is gonna drop us off"

"Wait what. How- when-...?" "Nevermind that just freshen up"
I rolled my eyes and went to wash up.

James POV

I controlled my anger that boiled in me.
"So your Cameron uhh?" I asked, my hands in fists but my arms were crossed.

To many things happened today, from Mr stone escaping with a new figure with him to Owen bringing the boy following Sophie.

"I-i- . Th- this is kid- kidnapping"

I chuckled bitterly, "This! This is kidnapping? For a year one student, you got some nerve; I'll give you that"

By the time I got to Sophie's campus, I got Owen's call that immediately got my attention. I ordered Owen to bring him to a place private and make sure no one sees him.

I still wanted to see Sophie, just to see her. But business called and I had to handle it ' I'll come for you soon Sophie' I told myself.

The young boy named as Cameron in his early teens looked frighten and scared "just answer the simple questions and your free to go" Owen told him.

We were in a private room somewhere in the office; nobody else knew I and Owen were here.

"Or we'll do this the hard way" Owen spoke to him. I just stayed quiet because I was controlling my dangerous anger, I couldn't let my anger get the best of me.

"Speak. NOW!" Owen yelled. I was growing impatient of this nonsense, I didn't have all day to be waiting for his reply. If he decides not to talk, I had my ways to make him speak.
