Sophie Pov

He looked at me then slowly filled his mouth with the dumplings. The way he looked at me always my tummy tickle, and my knees went weak, like he was tell my body something that I didn't even know
Calm down Sophie, you're just doing helping out because of what you did.... nothing to it... right?

James groaned in pleasure as he ate the dumpling. I felt my body tingle and turn hot inside...what's wrong with you, keep calm.

"I'll go get some ice packs for your eyes" I stood up trying to get out of the situation, I turned away to leave and felt a firm grip on my wrist "hurry back" he whispered, his eyes nearly shutting. I went to the fridge and found some ice packs, I took them out 'cold, so cold' I hissed carrying them. I got to where James was sitting "ok I got the icepacks" I turned and saw his eyes closed 'oh are you asleep already?' I picked up his jacket where I left it earlier and covered him with it.

I scanned his face even as exhausted as he is, he was still handsome. I stared at his face, he's smooth jaw line, he's lovely long eyelashes, he's nice complexion; Seeing him this up close was mesmerizing. I noticed he had a red bruise on his left cheek. I didn't know why but somehow I so wanted to touch him, he's peaceful position made me feel at ease.

I slowly moved to reach his cheek. ''Sophie what are doing! My mind yelled at me to stop and I tried to snap my self out of it, but something in me still wanted to make contact.

I was so close to touching his cheek, that even my tummy was doing flips just being this close. I was so lost looking at him, he black smooth looking hair and came closer to his face studying his amazing features, as my eyes scanned his face...

"Like what you see?" James hand holding my waist. My soul left my body nearly tumbling back if not James hand holding me.
"I t-thought your asleep!?" I panicked. What the heck was I doing so close to him?!
"So you could take advantage of me?" He gave me a suspicious glare still with a grin on his face and my face turned red as a bright tomato.

"I- erm.." I raked my head trying to find something to say

"Will you take responsibility of me?" He smirked. "You look more brighter with that red face of yours" he chuckled at me. I felt my heart beat was twice...no scratch that five times its beat!.

I pushed him off I stood up and tried calming down my nerves "I was just trying to treat the bruise on your cheek" I changed the subject to give me time to adjust my self. My body was internally shaking and I swear my blood was boiling water right now cause I could feel it bubble up inside me.

James chuckled and I felt my shaken nerves turn to anger "Ooh really!....do you think this is funny. It's like you enjoy seeing like this!" I yelled furious at him.

"You started it " he said calmly

"Seriously" I scoffed "it's obvious that you started it!" I yelled back pinning the blame back on him.
"You pretended to be asleep and scared the life at of me!"

"No...you disturbed my sleep and I was woken up by you" he stated.

"I-i was just worried about you!" Just as soon as I said it, I covered my mouth shut. I was worried about him?! Seriously Sophie why say it out loud!

We stared at each other in silence, "you had a bruise on your cheek and it looked like it hurts so I--" I was looking away and playing with my fingers to avoid his eyes. Since he kept silent I continued "I just thought it was the least i could do to-"

I was still looking down when I felt someone gently cupped my hands. "James?" James was looking down at my palms and gently rubbing them sending my body upsidedown "h-hey stop that!?" I said flustered, my cheeks turning red again.
