Chapter 3: The feelings

Part 2: Months later
Anora's point of view
I still walk to work and go to the bakery to see Ethen, and get my banana nut muffin that he has ready for me. He is funny and we always have good conversations,but today was different. Because instead of Ethen at the counter, It's a dark skinned girl with pink hair.

Sammy's point of view
Ethen had to leave last minute last night because his dad was at the hospital, So It's just me working. But I mostly make Ethen work every morning at exactly around 8 to 9 a clock because I could tell he has a little crush on that Anora girl even though he hasn't told me anything, I can tell. We have never talked or seen each other so when I saw her walk in, I got excited.
"Good morning!" I say to her with a smile.
She's really pretty up close. I see why Ethen likes her.
"Oh? Where's Ethen?" Miss "Anora" says
"He went to Florida at the last minute to see his parents, But what can I get you?" I say.
"Oh uhm well Ethen always has a banana nut muffin ready for me." she says.
This bitch. Ethen could have at least told me before I sold the last one to some man with a black hood on.
"Sorry , we just sold the last one. Maybe we can give you a slice of banana bread with nuts?" I say.
She agrees and I go cut a slice until I get a call, it's fucking ethan.
"The hell you want I'm trying to give your little 'girlfriend' over here something that isn't a banana nut muffin!" I whisper to him in a yelling way.
"Shit. my bad that's what i was calling to tell you." Ethen says.
"Ya well it looks like you are a bit too late to tell me!" I told him.
"What are you even going to give her?" He asks.
"A banana bread with nuts since that's the only shit we have that tastes close to it!" I yell at him again in a whisper.
"Well you better do it fast she goes to work in a few minutes." he tells me.
"THEN HANG THE FUCK UP!" I'm about to hang up and he tells me something.
"Wait! I actually wanted to call and ask you something".
"And that is?" I say.
"Can you ask Anora if she will go out with me?" he asks.
"ME!? Can't you do it?" I say
"NO! I mean, I could just not right now I don't have her number" he says.
"Well guess what...NO!" I yell.
"WELL FUCK YOU AND YOUR GAY ASS!" he yells and hangs up.
THAT LITTLE- I mean I am gay but hearing it from him!?
"Is everything fine?" Anora asks.
I turn to look at her"Oh yes everything is fine." I say in a sarcastic way.
I cut the bread and put it in a box and handed it to her.
"Thank you." she tells me.
"Mhm"
As she walks to the door I start to think .
"Wait!" I yell and she turns to look at me.
"What if you and my little god brother Ethan go out together?"
Anora's point of view
As I walk to the coffee shop and think about what that girl told me. I stare at the paper she gave me with Ethans number. Ethan, out of all people, wants to go out with ME!? I mean I knew he liked me but I don't even like him like that. I don't even know if I like Aidan. I still have dreams of us together, one time I had a dream that he went through my window and just ripped my clothes off and- well we all know what would happen next. That's how desperate I want him.
Wait..Want him? I think I do like him. Oh fuck, how the hell do I reject Ethen then. When I walk in the shop there's already a few people there and aidan is sweeping the floors.
He looks up and sees me "Oh! There you are Anora!" he says.
He puts the broom down and walks up to me which gives me time to admire him. Oh how perfect he looks.
"Anora?" you okay" he says.
No of course not, I want you to push me up the wall and just kiss me for god sake-"ya I'm fine. Where do you want me to work today?" I ask.
"You can work at the cashier while I clean up." He tells me.

As I wait for people to come I just stare at him as he cleans the windows, his blueish gray eyes, his longish black hair,pale skin, his jawline, everything about him just makes me feel-just something. He sees something in the window but honestly I don't care, why should I, He's there. He then turns and walks over to me..OH SHIT HE'S WALKING OVER TO ME. Okay uh I need to act like I'm doing something.
"Hey Anora, is it fine if I leave the coffee shop to you for the rest of the day? I'll be back before closing I promise." aidan askes.
"Ya that's fine. Where are you going? Are you going to check on your mom?" I say.I met his mom once when Aidan brought her from the hospital and she wanted to see the coffee shop.
But before he can answer a girl with bright ginger hair and bright blue eyes runs in.
"Hello love!" she yells out and runs into Aidans arms.
"Maya this is Anora, my employee and friend, Anora this is Maya, my girlfriend." He says as he wraps his arms around her.
GIRLFRIEND! I didn't know he had a girlfriend. I stood there in shock.
"Oh uhm..Hello" I managed to say.
"Oh..Hi..I guess. Will you be a dear and get me a Hazelnut, Iced, mocha, Thank you and please be fast, me and aidan are having our one year together!" she says in a bitchy way.
"Oh, Haha... congrats...I'll go get that started." i say.
If only my day couldn't get worse.

Once I came home I jumped on my bed and cried. Why her...why fucking her. I don't even know her and I hate her with everything in my heart. Why should I care though, he called me a friend..a mother fucking friend. As I cry and scream I remember the paper, Ethens phone number. I grab it from my purse and my phone and type it in and call.
"Hello?" He says tired.
"Oh..you sound tired..it's me Anora but I'll call you tomorrow then." I say as I wipe my tears.
"OH, Anora..wait you sound as if you have been crying..what's wrong?" He asks in a more of a sweet, calm, tired, voice.
"Nothing really. Hey, I need to ask you something." I say.
"Oh? What is it? You know you can tell me anything, Anora." He says reassuringly.
"...What about that 'date'"
