A/n: So I'm not gonna give an excuse as to why I've not been updating, cause tbh it's all excuses at the end of the day and I find it annoying when an author goes; "Oh I'm sorry I was climbing Mount Everest this last week and dropped my phone in the toilet blah blah blah...." Like okay..... good on you. So yeah anyway I'm here and here's some memes to make you forget my tardiness before we get into the story.

Y/n's POV

It's been over two hours since the others got back. The boy was taken to the now cleared out barn while we gathered as a group in the dining room of Hershel's home. Most sat at the table while the remainder stood looking to the head of the table where Hershel and Rick stood.

"We couldn't just leave him behind. He would've bled out, if he lived that long." Rick states, answering the questions which he'd been bombarded with by the group while we made our way inside with the exception of Daryl who was checking in on Randall and making sure the boy was still outers and not trying to escape.

"It's gotten bad in town." Glenn proclaimed, avoiding Maggie's stares as she tried to figure out what was going on since he'd been avoiding her from the moment he got back.

"It's the herd migrating, most likely coming in from the highway and those that broke out the highschool joining together if the numbers are increasing." I state fiddling with a butterfly pocket knife I'd taken off the boy Randal.
