Y/n's POV

The next morning I was awoken by a voice calling me from the outside of my truck. Groggily I got up and crawled across my blow up mattress, pushing my blankets aside and yawning. Once at the pull down flap I uncliped the right side and pulled it back.

Standing there was Lori with a smile on her face. "Hey, sorry to disturb you. I was just coming to ask if you had any laundry that needed doing?"

"Oh uh, you don't have to worry about that I can sort it out myself. Uh, is there anything I can do to help out?" I ask, sending her a small awkward smile.

"If you don't mind, we could use some help with the laundry." She answered pointing behind her.

"Sure, consider it done."

"Thanks. Oh and Carl and the others were wondering if Skylla wanted to come and play?"

I looked over to the dog who was still layed on the mattress, ears perked up at the sound of her name. Laughing quietly to myself I turned back to Lori nodding my head.

"I'll send her over."  The two of us smiled at each other as Lori walked away. I pulled back the flap, clipping it in place so that I could get dressed.

Since I was going to be doing laundry I decided to wear my spare pair of camouflage cargo trousers, a black vest top, a hooded sleeveless cape like shawl, my dog tags, my knife strapped to my belt holster, bow and quiver strapped to my back and boots.

(In short something like this.)

Once finished I threw the duvet over the mattress to make it look tidy and grabbed a spare bag with all my dirt laundry in.

I unclipped the back and jumped out landing with an umph, Skylla following suit. Pulling the back down but leaving a gap to let it air I walked into the camp.

Next to my truck I could see a sad Glenn stood watching as Jim, Dale and Morales stripped his nice car for parts.

I walked over to him as Rick joined us. "Look at them. Vultures." A sad Glenn said. "Yeah go on, strip it clean."

"Generators need every drop of fuel they can get. Got no power without it." Dale educates, patting Glenn on the shoulders. "Sorry Glenn."

"Thought I'd get to drive it at least a few more days." He mopes.

"Maybe we'll get to steal another one someday." Rick comforts, patting his back and walking away.

"Might not be an expensive car but you can drive my truck sometime." I say with a comforting smile. Resting a hand on his shoulder.

"Thanks Y/n." Glenn says with a small smile before turning back to the men that are pulling his car apart.

I nod my head with a small smile as I walk over to where the group of children are playing. Carl is the first to see me walking over. "Y/n!" He exclaimed excitedly as I stopped in front of the kids.
