We sat quiet. A few minutes already had passed, and my eyes were about to close as I felt heartwarming peace. But right at that moment, my phone rang and disrupted the beautiful silence.

I fished out the cell phone from my pocket, and shouted, looking at the screen, "It's Danny, guys!"

Monica, Diana, and Sarah stood up, and so did I after them.

"Come on, pick up the call," said Monica, her voice full of impatience.

"Yes, yes," I said, and touched the answer symbol on the phone.

"Hello!" said Danny.

"Hey, I'm Rocky here," I said.

"Jerry and I both are here at my home. I want you to be here in two hours, exactly at twelve," said Danny.

"How would I come there?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" said Danny, angrily.

"I don't have your address," I said, slightly raising my voice.

"I'm not dumb," said Danny. "I'll send it to you once I hang up the call. Stupid!"

I stayed quiet.

Danny hung up the call.

"Why did he tell you to reach home exactly at twelve?"

"I have no idea."

The phone beeped.

It was Danny's message. I opened it and clicked on the direction to open it in Maps.

"It's only---" I said, and the phone rang. It was a call from Danny.

I answered the phone, saying, "Hello!"

"Did you receive my message?" asked Danny.

"Yes. I did," I said.

"I told you to patch up with Sarah. What's the status?"

"I already have. That dumb girl believed in my fake apology," I said.

Sarah looked at me with an upset face, her nostrils flared.

I winked at her and then gave her a flying kiss.

"Did you say something?" asked Danny.

"No, no," I said. "I will be there by twelve. Don't worry. I will manage to bring Sarah as well with me."

Danny disconnected the call.

Now I checked the distance to his house again. "His house is only forty-five minutes away from here," I said.

"Great!" said Monica. "We have an hour to prepare ourselves."

"What do you want to prepare?" I asked. "It's simple. Sarah and I are going to his house. And once we reach there, before we enter the house, Sarah will call Diana from her cell phone so that you guys can hear our conversation."

"That sounds perfect, but," said Monica. "I would like to make a slight change in the plan."

"What is it?" Sarah and I asked in unison.

"Diana and I will come after you in my car. We will stay at a safe distance so that if you guys find any trouble, we can reach there on time to help you."

"That sounds great!" said Sarah. "Thank you!"

"That's what are friends for," said Monica, and we exchanged a smile.
