Ever since meeting Monica at the office that day Fatima has given it thought to go back to work. It was something in her that made her feel that she needed to be close to Zac at all times especially when another woman was involved. If someone would ask her to name it, she wouldn't say insecure more so just be cautious. She hadn't told Zac yet and they also haven't had the conversation about her returning back to work so Fatima didn't know what his response would be.
She wanted her transition to be quick too, she was anticipating on starting the following week. She was actively thinking of a plan for Mason but at the moment she wanted to bring him with her to work. She knew once she talked to her mother about it, she wouldn't allow her to do that and Zac will definitely find an issue in that.
"I'm letting you go but I promise Mia, you bet-
"I know mom I will be back on time I know not to play with you." Mia says. She asked Fatima to go to hang with her new boo. He asked her on a date and Fatima granted permission. Mia begged to keep this between her and her mother so Zac wouldn't find out. She just didn't want him to act crazy because of the recent situation Mia went through with Trey, she knew it would be out of love but she didn't want to deal with it.
"And you need to text me when you get there." Fatima says holding Mason walking around the kitchen island patting his back.
Zac went to watch the game with his boys so Fatima was home with the kids.
"Why do you look so irritated?" Mia ask Melody "if you would just tell the truth you wouldn't have to sneak."
"Well doesn't that sound familiar" Melody says
"Yeah it does, I never said you were wrong but I just didn't want to listen at that moment." Mia explains to her
"Yeah whatever" Melody says. She was irritated and she was the only one to blame for that. She watched Mia openly go out with her prospective boyfriend while she had to stress herself and find ways to meet up with Devon, hoping not to get herself in trouble.
"I will tell her for you if you're being weird about the situation it was so long ago. She probably doesn't care anymore" Mia says
"You already told her, big ass mouth" Melody says
"I did not. Yes I told her that you have a boyfriend but not who." Mia says to her
"Just go on your date" Melody says in envy
"I will" Mia says rolling her eyes.
Some time had passed, Mia and Zac was still out, everyone else was lounging around the house. Fatima was upstairs walking through the hallway after she put something in the closet.
"Fuck!" Fatima heard and her neck snapped because that didn't sound like Melody. She walked down to Messiah's room and seen him sitting on the side of his bed playing the ninetendo switch.
"I know you're not in here cursing!" Fatima says startling Messiah. He quickly slides the Nintendo switch on the side of him

"And you're not slick. I seen that damn game, you're not suppose to have any of that game shit. Give it to me!" She demanded and Messiah was slow to respond as he whined to himself. When he got up to give it to her, she snatched it out of his hand.
"You're tripping. Did you have homework today?" Fatima ask him and he shook his head no
"Words." Fatima says. She and Zac constantly have to reinforce that with him because when he gets in trouble he starts to go quiet when someone is asking him questions
"I do not have homework." He says and Fatima did not like his tone.
"Go get your bookbag." She says and he sucked his teeth "Matter fact, let's go downstairs because if you in fact do have homework you're going to sit downstairs and do it in my face." Fatima says and Messiah groans
