It wasn't long before Zac and Robin landed back in Atlanta. Robin still without a word to speak but an expression that told a story. Zac didn't push his brother to talk but he let him know to hit him up before they went their separate ways at the airport.
Zac did as he said and caught an Uber home. When he arrived, he and his duffel bag marched up to the home and walked in. It was just before sundown and he could hear Mason babbling from the kitchen. Following his voice, led him to Mason sitting on the counter in front of a leaning Fatima who was feeding him mashed potatoes.
"Mas-
"Oh daddy's home that's why you're breaking your neck" Fatima says to Mason who's head was turned from the spoon she was feeding him from
"You smelled me man?" Zac says dropping his bag and coming over to the two. He kissed Fatima on her temple and picked Mason up
"Put him down and wash your hands" Fatima states
"My fault boss lady" he says putting Mason down and jogging over to the sink to wash his hands
"Say don't touch me with your nasty outside hands" Fatima says kissing Mason's cheek
"My bad my bad" Zac says
"How was the workshop?" Fatima ask leaning on the counter with Mason sitting up in front of her
"It was cool, the one meeting went cool. Got a crazy deal on the line and the other one, he's gonna hit me sometime next week" Zac tells her
"Good, good" she says
"Did you do what I ask?" Fatima ask
"Which was?" He ask looking at her drying his hands
"You came home empty handed" Fatima says looking at him
"Who said I did?" He responds
"Well..." Fatima says
Zac knew he was empty handed because he completely forgot to go to fifth avenue. He made a mental note to make sure he went but he definitely didn't.
"Look ba-
"Aht no" Fatima cuts him off
"You know whatever you want, you'll get. So what do you want" he ask
"No. I told you fifth avenue. You know a lot of the flagship stores are in New York and you came home with nothing."she tells him "What you say fuck me for?" She ask and Zac couldn't help but to laugh
"Babe I promise whatever you want I'll make sure you'll have it. Just tell me" he says to her
"I wanted you to get me something nice and you came back with nothing at all" she says
"Stop it" he says standing behind her holding her waist. He was at an advantage because she was already bent over leaning on the counter
"No get away from me" she says
"Oh it's like that?" He ask with his brow raised
"It sure is" she says. During their entire exchange she pondered on whether she should mention her conversation with Yandy but she was still very much confused.
"You know who I talked to earlier?" Fatima says switching the conversation as she wiped Mason's mouth
"Who?" Zac ask as he took a sip of his water, leaning on the counter just as Fatima
"Yandy" she says
"Of forreal? What was she talking about?" He ask
"She said she seen you" Fatima says
