The suspension week had passed and the girls were to be reinstated today (Wednesday) by 10 am. Today was a hectic day for the Taylors because this week is conference prep week. Zac and Fatima have both been working diligently to prepare presentations for the conference they'll be flying out to in a few days. Zac would be the one reinstating the girls this morning because Fatima had to meet with her team exactly at 10. She dropped Messiah before she went into the office and Zac stayed back waiting for the girls to get themselves ready.
"Can y'all come on, I'm not stopping at Starbucks if y'all don't hurry up" Zac called out standing by the door.
"Dad it's been like two weeks can I have my phone back pleaseee" Mia begged as she fixed her shoes, Melody came down shortly after.
"Yeah the past is the past isn't that what you say?" Melody says
"Yeah yeah whatever, I guess y'all can have em back. Make sense if y'all got practice later anyway right" Zac says
"Look at that, it all works out" Mia says.
Zac runs upstairs grabbing their phones from Fatima's nightstand, bringing them back down to the girls
"Damn could've atleast charged it" Mia says and Zac looks at her
"Or you can give it back don't make me no difference" Zac says
"Chill I'm sorry dad." Mia says
"That's what I thought" Zac says. Melody stayed quiet because she was tired, if it was up to her she would've like another week off.
The three got in the car, stopping at Starbucks first and then heading to the school. Once arriving, Zac had to go in and sign the approval to enter back into the school. After he did that the girls had to stay in the office a little longer to fill out their own paperwork. Zac headed out the building and on his way.
Once Mia and Melody finished in the office, they made their way to class. Jayla was waiting for Melody as soon as she walked out the office. When Mia was leaving out, Asia and her father were walking into the office. Asia was walking a bit faster than her father quickly going into the office, with him walking a little distance behind her.
"You're Mia right? Fatima's daughter?" Brian ask
"Um yeah why" Mia says confused
"Could you give this to her for me please" Brian says handing over a envelope but Mia hesitates to take it
"You tryna abduct me or something, you put something on this didn't you" she says
"I'd be dead if I did, I wouldn't even do such a thing" He says seriously. Mia takes the envelope and looks at him
"What is it because my mom don't like stupid things" Mia says
"No, it's worth it. She'll find it very useful." he says before going into the office. Mia slipped it in her bookbag.
The day went by and the girls were at practice.
"Trey and his friends are having a kick back this weekend" Ashley says changing into her practice clothes
"He did mention it to me earlier but I didn't know they were serious " Mia says
"Oh when Trey says anything about a party or a kick back he's definitely serious, that's all he knows" Ashley says
"Really? I never got that vibe from him?"
"That's because he was throwing them parties to be a hoe but once he met you he chilled out. But this his friend throwing it for the team winning the game last week" Ashley says
