"Babe can you fix your face" Zac says coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. Fatima's face sat with a natural frown
"I've tried, it's just goes back." She says stretching her face muscle, but the frown stayed
"My car" she says plainly
"It will get fixe-
"I cannot drive that like that! I can't and I won't. What the hell do I look like, the woman of my caliber, driving a scratched lamb truck. That shit isn't cute" Fatima went on. Zac blew his breath because she's been ranting in spurts.
She went off when they first came in and Zac talked her down. Twenty minutes passed and it happened again. She was busy doing things around the house and then she bust out, going off again.
"Looking like a broke bitch who stumbled on some money and just HAD to have any lamb truck on some back block car lot" Fatima goes on
"Fatima!"Zac says out
"Well you let them scratch up the truck or let them tear up that new Audi" Fatima says and Zac's head snapped up
"Yeah I seen that invoice" she adds " When did you decide to spend that damn much on a car?" She ask "You know what- nevermind" she says before walking away.
Zac was left standing and shaking his head.
"Mommy is coming Mason" he hears her say as Mason whimpers
"WHY THE HELL IS THERE SHOES IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS FLOOR" Fatima screamed and Zac blew his breath before jogging up the stairs
"SOMEBODY BETTER MOVE THEM" She says before disappearing into Mason's room
When Zac got to the top of the stairs, their were 3 pair of shoes that seemed to all belong to the girls.
He picked them up and walked toward their room. When he knocked, they responded and he walked in with the shoes in his hand
"Y'all are going to bring that side out of your mother and I'm not tryna catch none of it" he tells them while tossing their shoes down
"Those are Mia's" Melody says
"I don't care who they belong to, keep them out the hallway and away from them steps" he tells them
"Are you going to get Mommy's car fixed?" Melody ask
"Do you really think I have a choice" Zac says laughing
"Either fixed, or a new one. Whichever is the fastest" he tells them
"I knew she would be mad but not like that" Melody says
"Y'all have to understand it's more than that. Y'all have to learn to look at situation not just from the surface level. One, she didn't know you were driving that damn car. Two, what if God forbid you got into a crazy ass accident. Nobody would've known what was going on because she told YOU to take her" Zac says pointing at Mia
"It's just the simple fact of you not doing what you were told to do and you" he says pointing at melody
" Not thinking safe. Because regardless if she didn't take you, you still got behind that wheel and drove yourself knowing damn well you're not a licensed driver and not even suppose to be driving unsupervised" he explains
The girls listened and understood. Everything he said to them, was clear and receivable. They both knew they were in the wrong and had to deal with the aftermath.
"I didn't know that was going to happen, I thought-
"Key words you didn't think" he says "You couldn't have been thinking because if you were, you would've just done with your mother told you do."
