"Wassup Boss I was just about to hit your line about one of your clients who called, I figured you weren't coming in today." Cody says a Zac walks into the office
"I'm here man, just no T today" Zac tells him
"Yes I seen the note for two block days" Cody says about Fatima not coming into the office for the next two days
"Yeah she need a day or two before getting back to business but which client called?" Zac asked pulling out his phone to check his work calendar to make sure he wasn't missing anything important.
"Monica. She wants to schedule a meeting for some time today if your schedule allows it" Cody says
"Did she say what for?" Zac ask just out of curiosity so he can prepare whatever may be necessary for the meeting
"Uhh not necessarily but she did mention some updates. She was quick on the phone but she did want to meet today I know that for sure." Cody explain
"Yeah okay... uh just see if 12 works. After that I'm closing my schedule off I need to get a lot of contracts handled before these deadlines start closing in" he says looking up from his phone and Cody nods.
Zac went back to his office and got settled. Just as he was finishing one of the many things on his to do list, his phone rang.
"Hey Babygirl" he answered to Melody who had called
"Daddy-
"Is there something wrong? Why are you calling me while you're in school?" Zac ask concerned
"Nothing is wrong daddy. I was on break with Mia -
"Hey dad" Mia interjected
"Hey Mi" he responded
"Doesn't mommy like wine?" Melody ask "Duh" Mia says and Melody sucks her teeth.
"Yes she does, why what's up?" Zac ask while he continued to multitask
"We should send her to a winery, you know so she can relax" Melody pitched
"Send her to a winery? Like she's a package or a dog or something" Mia replies
"You know what I'm saying! I think she would like it" Melody says
"Dad I was thinking the spa, she loves the spa" Mia says taking over the conversation and Melody rolled her eyes. Zac could tell it was a slight competition happening over the phone
"She loves both." He tells them " How about one of you pay for the winery and the other the spa. Wait I think there's a place that's has both. I'll call your aunt, she knows"
"Dad why can't you pay for it, I thought we were a team" Mia says and Zac laughed
"Yeah we're a team but the point of it is for YALL to plan it with your own money. Trust me it'll feel so much different when you know you've did everything from start to finish. Now I will say, if it is unreasonably expensive, I will put-
"YES" he heard the girls excitedly say
"I will put to it but that's ONLY if I see its cost too much, but other than that you're on your own." Zac explained
"Well what's too expensive bec-
"Mia and Melody" he huffed " We'll cross that bridge if it's necessary but in the meantime get back to school and I have work to do. Get off my Jack" he says before the girls sent their love and playfully hung up the phone
Zac shook his head while he got back to work.
It wasnt before long that the office phone rang and Cody notified Zac that his 12 o'clock was there.
