5 seconds on the clock went by, the last 5 seconds of the game. The ring went off, the football game was over, I was cheering the game. The football players huddled up hyping and pushing one another as they gained another win, but I only had one thing on my mind, I got to see him after the game. We rolled up our mats and got them back in the gym, coach gave us the ok to leave. By then everyone was gone. I was one of the lasts to leave. I started walking, I passed the bleachers as someone grabbed my arm pulling me under them...
"don't do that jj!" I said smaking his arm, "sorry about that" he said smirking down at me. His hand was still around my arm as his other one snakes around my waist, he lightly pushed me into him as he bent down to kiss me. No one knew me and jj were a thing. It was very low key since me and my family were kooks, we didn't want anyone's input. I pushed off of his chest with my hands sending him back a little, he threw up his hands, "what was that for" he questioned, "I don't wanna stay under here, plus i'm cold." I said back. "Well I don't got a jacket honey, but If I did I'd give it to ya." He said taking my hand. Eventually we both went home and that was that.
The next night there was a party going on, jj had no idea I'd be there and I had no idea he'd be there. It was a last minute thing me and sarah had planned to go to. We got to the party and talked to some people, even john b. He seemed very eager to leave us, like something was wrong. I didn't think anything of it. "Hey help me find a bathroom I'm about to pee all over myself y/n" sarah said, I answered back "alright". We made our way up the stairs and opened a few doors still not finding the bathroom. We opened another door and it was a bathroom, except there was a girl on the counter, with jj between her legs. "Oh shit sorry" sarah said. before she closed the door jj looked over and saw us standing in the hallway I stood there with a blank look before sarah shut the door "Guess im gonna pee all over myself" sarah said before turning to walk away, I still stood there, "y/n what's wrong" she said concerned, "nothing" I said beginning to walk away, you could hear rummaging in the bathroom followed by the door knob shaking. At that point I had already started walking away. I heard running from behind me, "y/n- y/n please, please just let me explain!" He said trying to reach for my arm to pull me back, I backed away from him, "jj get the fuck away from me." Jj ran his fingers through his hair, he cussed under his breath. He let me walk away. I stayed at the party the rest of the night and did not see jj. Even now when I see jj he still has a soft spot for me, he knows he fucked up, he regrets it everyday. And still no one knows.
