Chapter 15

5 Months later...

"Are you nervous?" Ryder asked me with his eyes fixed on the road.

"Very nervous." I answered and I stroked my now-big tummy.

"Don't worry, my mom and brothers will love you. Besides, YOU are my legal wife." He said and smiled.

Yes that's right. We got officially married a few days after he returned from New York. Now I'm officially Mrs Storm. It was a simple yet elegant wedding. We also told Jacob, Teresa and Jessica the truth and, surprisingly enough, they didn't get mad, they were happy that we found each other.

I also showed Ryder the messages Dominic had sent me and we found out that he was also in Rome. Ryder quickly sorted it out though, and I hadn't heard of Dominic since.

Now we are in Washington, on our way to the Storm family. And truth be told, I'm really nervous. The drive was very long and it was warm in the car and I was thankful that I wore a thin summer dress.

I fiddled around with my dress until Ryder put his big hand on my nervous hands.

"Don't worry Charlie, you already spoke to my mother on many occasions, and you've met my annoying aunt Gabriela." He jokingly said.

"Hey! Your aunt is not annoying, besides, it'll be the first time I'm meeting them in person." I protested and he chuckled.

We drove in peaceful silence and soon we arrived at his house. House is not a correct term I'd use to describe it, it's a villa! The bodyguard came closer and when he saw that it was Ryder, he smiled broadly and ordered for the gates to be opened.

I was still really nervous but when I saw a woman waiting at the door with two men, my heart fluttered excitedly.

Ryder first got out and then he opened the door for me. I held his hand as he helped me out and then I smothered the creases on my dark green summer dress.

"Ryder, my son!" His mother exclaimed and came forward to give him a crushing hug. She began to say a few Italian words and kissed him on both cheeks.

She then turned to me and smiled broadly. "Charlie! My beautiful figlia! Come here." She said and gently pulled me in for a hug. "Oh you are even more beautiful in person!" She exclaimed and I got all emotional.

"It's wonderful to finally meet you in person, Isabella." I said when she pulled back.

She smiled and wiped her tears when she touched my stomach. "How's my granddaughter doing?"

"She's doing well, she's just hungry all the time." I said and she laughed.

While we where busy talking to each other, Ryder was giving two men hugs. When I saw that they both looked identical, I immediately knew that they were Leonardo and Lorenzo.

They both had dark hair and light-brown eyes, and they were tall, but Ryder is taller, and more muscular than them. The only difference between the twins is that one has long curly hair tied into a bun, and the other one has short curly hair.

They both looked at me and I smiled shyly at them. The one with the short hair came forward and kissed my hand charmingly. I smiled and then he gave me a hug. "Sorella! You're finally here!" He exclaimed and I looked up in confusion.

"Sorella?" I asked and he chuckled.

"It means sister, and truth be told, you ARE our sorella now." The one with the bun said before he came forward to give a hug. "I'm Lorenzo, and this foolish one is Leonardo." He said after releasing me from the hug.
