Shifting into a huge dragon was not fun when we had just finished training, but we wanted to end these Rebels before they could do anything to the kingdoms that we are all trying to unite. I swear Pyrite and I, along with the dragon's in our kingdom and the wolves and witches in the other kingdoms will come together and wipe the Rebels off the face of the Earth, or die trying.

Pyrite and I flew to the main gate and saw wolves, vampires, and witches trying to blast the gate. I banked right and Pyrite banked left. I grabbed a huge boulder in my back claws and threw it at them. Pyrite took another and placed it in front of the gate. One dragon that was red and gold, looked like Nexis, flew over them and pissed. The Rebels yelled in rage. Some started trying to jump the gate, Nexis and a few of the other Den Leaders spewed fire, catching most on fire, only a handful were left in a minute as the rest screamed in agony.

The smell of torch bodies permitted the air, the boulders were a warning, and now they lost at least fifty members with another fifty or so running away. I don't know what they are after, but they won't get it. Kingdoms uniting happened all the time. I don't get why they were against bringing the whole supernatural race together, stopping all the bloodshed. I glance over at Nexis, his warriors already tracking the rebels that fled. Pyrite shifted back into his human form and was directing a few of the dragons to remove the boulder that he placed in front of the gate and another that I threw and flattened a few of the assholes.

I flew up and circled the last ten miles. Not seeing any more of the traitors, I flew home and met Pyrite near the other guards and the Den Leaders. We set up a cleaning crew and shifts for the guards. Nexis came in and smirked, walking around in shorts that he must have found lying somewhere, because they were a bit tight on him.

"Well, if it isn't the king of the flood gates," Pyrite said as we all busted out laughing.

"Well, I thought it would calm them down." He replied with a smirk and shrug. "Can't help it when I need to take a piss."

"Just shower before your mate smells another on you, because I don't think those are your shorts." I said with a chuckle.

"Planned to. Anyway, I want in on the rotations for guard duty. I don't want to be sitting around when I know I can do more for our kingdom, My Kings." He told us with a straight face. We agreed and set it up. It was a few hours later, after the clean-up was done, and we knew there were no more Rebels around, did we call the guards to tell our mate it was safe for her and Maxia to leave the safe room. Also telling other guards to tell the other females that it was now safe.

The guards are guarding the door to my room after telling Max and I to hide in the safe room we built into the closet after finding out about the babies and with how many I will have, I knew if danger came our way, I wouldn't be able to fight. There was a mini fridge with water and lunch meat, and on top of it was bread, chips, and crackers in case I got hungry. I didn't know how long we were in the room, and we were the only ones with the code to the door.

I knew that my mates were at the front lines. I was worrying that something would happen to them. I want them with me, I want this bullshit Rebel group annihilated!

"Sapphire?" Max spoke to me softly.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Are you okay? Your hands shifted and you made fists and now you are bleeding," she told me as she wrapped her arms around me, giving me comfort.

"I'm worried about my mates, I'm worried about you, and I'm thinking, I really don't want to have my babies in my new closet," I told her as I started bawling and laughing at the same time. My hormones were all over the place. Max chuckled with me as we laid on the padded floor, waiting for news.

Max and I talked about a few things, mainly her worry that Vandal wasn't going to be her mate anymore. She also told me something interesting about herself that I never thought was possible. She was a half-breed. Half-Vampire and Half-Werewolf. She is the only one that she knows about. Her mother, Malina, was a full-blooded wolf, and her father, Dranko, was a retired royal vampire guard. So Maxia had royal blood from her father's old post, and her mother was our new Kings nursemaid, when his mother passed at birth. The King will be turning twenty-one in a few weeks and will be hosting a mating ball to find his Queen. I hoped our King found his Queen.

I slowly fell asleep, cuddled with Maxia, and woke up a few hours earlier to a guard shouting the all clear word, paintballs, making Max and I laugh, and I got up with Max's help. Groaning at the pressure in my back. I made my way to the keypad and put in the exit code. It was the entrance code backwards. Not really original, but easy to remember. Max helped me out of the door and straight to the bed on the other side of the room. I laid down with a sigh, finally able to calm down with my men's scent permitting the air and our bedding.

"I'll have one of the guards order some food for you, Phire, that way you can rest," Max said heading towards the door. "Also, your mates need to put beds in that damn safe room so you can be comfortable."

I just nodded my head, and quickly found myself sleeping.
