Reunited

A lot has happened in the past year for Piper and Finn.

Piper has finished her first year in her new dance school in New York, as she is starting her degree to be a professional dancer.

While Finn has been touring around the world with Radiation for the past year since leaving The Next step, and after tour he will start his degree to start his HipHop career.

Even a lot at the studio has changed since they both left The Next Step, the café has changed with happens every dance season.

And a-troupe are preparing for internationals which is coming up soon, so they'll hopefully get to fly over and support the whole team.

But this whole long-distance will be finally ending next week as Finn's last ever show on tour is next Sunday, and then the next day he'll be coming home.

Then finally in Piper's arms like nothing else mattered.

Today, she is coming back home to Toronto for summer break after finishing her first year in her dance school in New York and reuniting with her family as James and Riley are visiting the family for the weekend.

It has been the most amazing and exciting year.

When she arrived at New York with Amy, she had absolutely no idea what to do with her life after leaving the studio, but then seeing all the incredible schools. She knew she could accomplish anything!

A few hours later, she arrived back at her parents house and then knocked on the door and opened with her very excited mother. "Piper! I've missed you so much."

Deborah pulled her daughter in a tight hug and rested her hands on her face and Piper said. "God, It's so good to be home."

"Yeah! How was the flight?"

"It was good! Chilled for the whole flight, watched some Netflix and ate." Piper said as she shoved her bags on the floor and sat in the kitchen while her mother prepared their special dinner for James and Riley coming back for a visit.

Her mom turned over to her and smiled. "Is Finn coming home this week?"

Piper nodded and smiled happily. "Yeah, couldn't be more happy, this has been the most shortest long-distance ever, but it was hard at times. I just cannot wait to hear his voice, feel his hands and kiss him again."

Deborah looked over at her daughter and smiled, she has never felt about someone this way, and it just shown after a year of being apart that Finn is and will always be her person.

"I'm really excited for him to finish tour, I know how much this long-distance has been for you."

Piper smiled. "Yeah, I know, I'm so happy to see him again."

Then her and Deborah talked until she went into her old room and set her bags down and knew she would have to put them on hangers as this will be where she'll be all summer, but she was so exhausted from a long flight.

She chilled in her bedroom for a bit before James and Riley returned back home as they all reunited together as she saw the both of them yesterday.

Her family is what makes her the happiest, and being home is like air.

Finally the day Piper has been waiting for almost a year has finally came, the day she finally reunites with Finn.

Her whole family was out of the house except her and James as her mother is at the spa with Riley who is currently 4 months pregnant, and James is over the moon with the news.

Then her father is at the hospital working a ton of shifts which last up to early in the morning some days.

"Are you seriously just sitting there and Finn is coming home today??" James exclaimed walking into her room as he sits at the end of her bed.
