i look at my left and see Seungmin,one of the hospital surgeon.

"you've done a scan to Goo Yeohyun before right? Jake asked for it"he continue.

my heart flutters hearing the guy name.

i know it have been 2 years since we broke up but i couldn't help it

and now Jiwoo is back near him

i knew she liked him in high school

she could be still liking him and that makes me furious when i see them together

"Goo Yeohyun?the 9th case suspect?"i ask as confirmation making him nod.

i stand up from my swivel chair and walk to the files drawers area.

i take the wanted file and walk back to him.

"why does he need this?he could just come here too" i say as i hand him the file with a frowns.

a smirk creeped up the guy face

"we bump into each others just now,he is going to Jay and im going to my room so he ask me if i could ask you for this"

"i'll hand it back later.thanks"

"ah,you should move on.he completely see you as a friend now"he continue and walk away making me roll my eyes.

"he is only 2 years older than me,that doesn't mean he can tell me what to do"i mutters as i close my office door.

"im going to café,do you guys want anything?"i ask.

all of them shake their head except Jiwoo.

she seems to be lost in thoughts.

"Jiwoo do you want anything?"i ask her directly making her look at me.

"umm,how about i go with you?"she ask me as i stand up.

"sure,let's go"i say making her stand up too and we get out from the room.

"what's the guy name?"i ask her as we get into the elevator making her turn to me.

"what guy?"she ask back making me smile.

"the guy that i act like"i reply and notice she gulps upon the question.

"you don't need to know"she state coldly making me smirk. "it's Jake"i say making her look at me with wide eyes.

"w-why?what's the reason he got bring up now?"she ask,stuttering a little making me chuckle.

"he is the only guy i know that went to the same school as you.thus,we act alike too"i answer making her look away and sigh.

"so it's him?"i ask

"cut it"she reply harshly.

"im right aren't i?"i ask again making her roll her eyes after taking a glance at me. "i mean,he is cool"i continue as i smile.

"just.shut up"she reply making me clamps my lips together.

trying so hard to not smile as i knew i am right

the elevator door opens as we reach the ground floor

we walk out to the cafeteria but then Jiwoo stop in front of me making me frowns.

"why?"i ask her but she just squint her eyes as she is analysing something makes me look to tge direction she is looking at.

"why do i think that girl is familiar?"she ask making me sigh.

"of course,i've shown her pictures to you before" i reply making her turn to me with a frown on her face.

i chuckle seeing her reaction.

"they're dating.they akways have been.Since grade 11" i continue making her more shock. "that must've hurt"she mumble.

"im fine with it.like totally..i want her to be happy, same goes to Heeseung.i know they're good for each other so that's enough to me"i rants.
