i got home a while ago since i am not on stand by or night shift for today after almost a month.

"finally..a proper rest.."i groan as i lay my body down on the couch after taking a quick hot shower to freshen up my body.

i let out a heavy sigh before feeling my eyes slowly closing itself, taking its time to completely shut together.

Ting !

well not until a notification decides to pop up on my phone screen making me groan before reaching out for it with my eyes still glued together.

Ting !

a few more notifications sound pop out making me sigh."please not be an urgent call,i just want a day off" i pray before slowly part my eyes and get shock by the message.

this is so much worse than an urgent call

"tell Yubin im coming for her tonight"

"also"

"tell her blocking me doesn't do anything"

i straightly cursed right after realizing the situation i, no we, in tonight.All i could think is where is the said girl whereabouts now.

i search for the girl name in my contact but sigh as I forgot that I never had her number even after years knowing her.

"shit,is she home?"

i question as i stand up from the position before and grab my bike key before leaving my apartment. I have to be fast, it's still peak hour, i couldn't get there by car.

I dial Sunghoon's number, hoping he would pick up the call but he don't. And worse, i couldn't reach him.

i mentally curse again before walking out of the elevator after the door open reveal the basement parking lot.

I get on my bike and call Jake.

"please pick up—"

"what's up?"

my sentences cuts off with the guy reply making me sigh in relief.

"Jiwoo and Sunghoon, where are they?"

i ask firmly, wanting a fast answer.

"suddenly?why d—"

"Jake,Where are they?"

i cut him of with the same question but it came out sounds a little harsh than before.

"Sunghoon's apartment.why?"

i sigh and curse low under my breath.

"Go there, bring them to Jay's.Now.I'll head there too"

I state before starting the bike engine.

"but why?—"

"just do it.if you don't want to lost her." i reply and sigh. "i'll explain later but go get them,now."I continue and hear the other guy groan in defeat.

"fine"

he reply before i cut the call and start to make my way to Jay's apartment.

"what's going on.."

i sigh as i get into my car and straightly make my way to Sunghoon's apartment.I glance at my phone before reaching for it and look for Jiwoo number through the contacts.

i tap on her name and put her on a loud speaker.

the number you have dialed is not avai—

"Why is she not picking up?"i question in worry before calling her again but get the same response as before.i mentally cursed before step further on the gas pedal.

I get off my car and run into the building reaching Sunghoon's apartment.

I put the code into the door before push it wide open and see Jiwoo and Sunghoon sitting on the couch, having their surprise gaze on me.

i sigh in relief before ended up on my knees due to the tiredness of running up the stairs all the way here.

"what's wrong?"

i look up and see Jiwoo approaching me with concerns plastered all over her face.

"thank god..i thought i'm late.." i mutter before letting out another heavy sigh, shutting my eyes. "late for what?"the girl ask making me shake my head.

"pack what you need,we're going to Jay's.hurry" i reply as i slowly get up and stand in front of the girl while slightly panting.

"Jay's?but why?" Sunghoon ask making me shrug.

"Heeseung called—"

"aa..okay"

he cuts me off making me look at the latter weirdly as he get up and walk into his room. I squint my eyes in confusion before turning my gaze to the girl in front of me.

"why don't you answer your phone? wait no—why can't i reach you?"i ask.

"you called?i didn't get any call.."she reply making me confused as i take out my phone begore showing her my call log.

"see?i called you a few moments ago but i couldn't reach you"i say making the girl more confuse. "but.." she reply as she reach for her phone in her back pocket.

"i really didn't receive any call..?"she say as she show her phone but then i notice something about her phone.

it's Iphone 13 in Pink instead of Black.

"Isn't..your phone colour is Black..?"i ask before shifting my gaze towards her and met her eyes.

"I bought a new one"she reply.

I hesitantly nod before turning to my left and see Sunghoon exiting his room with a small bag.I turn back to the girl before grabbing her by her shoulder making her flinch.

"let's go"

i oppose making the two nod.
