Jiwoo now, is currently fiddling around with the food that Jake decided to bought for her a while ago since her father say she hasn't eat anything since lunch.

Her dad left after Jake arrived from work, Jarin left to go home, Sunghoon too, right after Jay was done with his shift.

Heeseung is on Stand by for the rest of the week so he's there, somewhere around the hospital for sure. Jiwoo hasn't met the guy after her check up in the early afternoon.

"hey"

Jake utter making the girl turn to him who is now sitting on her right.

"what's wrong?"

"you hasn't been yourself since I'm here"

"why?what is it?"

Jake continue as he reach for the girl hand, holding it in his, softly caressing them which make Jiwoo heart melts before leaning sideways to the guy and he welcome her in his warm embrace.

Jiwoo release a shaky breath making Jake even more confused but still plant a short kiss on the top of the girl head, not saying anything.

"dad keep mentioning Han Seungmin.."

"I can't bring myself to tell him that he is behind all of this"

"dad treasure him so much"

"Sunghoon told me earlier that"

"he saw him again today"

"he is following him around.."

"but Damin and the others are too close"

"that he can't do anything"

"but he also said that"

"he didn't seem to try to do anything"

"so that means he is waiting for the right time"

"there's isn't much time left"

"If Sunghoon is gone then it'll be you, then Hee"

"the list just keep going..Jarin too"

Jiwoo rants as tears fall from her eyes, Jake gulp as he get what the girl is currently worrying about. He is now remembered how his life is on the edge.

but despite the struck of fear he was hit by, he pull the girl closer and rub her back to calm her down, caressing the back of her head, calming himself too.

"We'll find a way"

"I promise"

"I promise to not let any of us get hurt"

"don't worry"

"we'll put him behind the bars as soon as we can"

"I don't know when"

"but I promise.."

Jake assure her even he can feel tears drop out from his eyes as the girl couldn't stop crying in his arms. All she could think is how much time they all have left before being seperated by death.

"I went to Han Seungmin unit this morning"

Jake utter as he sip on his canned beers. It's currently 1 in the morning and Jiwoo is asleep so Jake decided to go to the stand-by-room and hang out with Heeseung.

"you found anything there?"

Heeseung question making the other shake his head.

"his unit is empty"

"he have moved out in advance"

"but he left his car and phones"

Jake reply making Heeseung sigh and and sip on his warm cup of coffee.

"well, he is beyond prepared for these things"

"he's not dumb, Jake"

"he could get to Sunghoon anytime by n–"

Heeseung sentence was cut by Jake phones ringing. Jay's name can be seen on the screen making them look at each other in surprise before Jake pick up the call.

"Jay, what is it?"

"Sunghoon is not home"

"what?"

"his car isn't here too"

"i just woke up from my sleep and found him nowhere"

"and he doesn't bring his phone with him"

Jay's word making the two panic.

"I'll go–"

"No"

"Jay come here, to the hospital"

Heeseung cut Jake's word.

"He could be waiting for you to get out of the hospital"

Heeseung explains to confused Jake in front of him.

"but what if the same things applied to Jay?"

Jake question making the other loss words.

"okay, listen"

"there isn't a safe way in this situation"

"I'll go there"

"his next target is supposed to be you, Jake"

"so I'll make my way there"

"alright, fine"

"see you in 10"

Jake reply and ended the call. Jake and Heeseung rush to Jiwoo's room to make sure nothing is happening to the girl too.
