Jake call again before grab the girl hand before she can open her car door, he turn her to face him before she pull her hand from him with full of force.
"what?!"
"do you want us to get news from that dipshit that Sunghoon's is dead first before doing anything?"
she questioned with anger and hatred fill her eyes.
"then where are you heading to?"
"everywhere that exist?"
"and what?waste your time for the rest of the day without finding anything?"
Jake question her, at this point he is so mad with her but he doesn't want to raise his voice towards the girl as he doesn't want the situation get more heat up than it already is.
Jiwoo roll her eyes before looking away making him frown due to the girl current behaviour. He about to say something but a notification pop up on his phone screen hindered him to do so, he change glances between the girl and his phone before he open her car door and snatch her keys from her.
"don't you want to look for him? get in"
Jake utter which make the girl look at him, all confused resulting the guy to release a sigh.
"Damin send me a location"
"how about checking it out?hm?"
Jake continue, still using a soft tone to talk to the girl making her look down on her feet before Jake signaled her to get in the passenger seat. Jiwoo take a deep breath as she get into the car just like the guy asked.
"where are we heading?"
Jiwoo ask softly as she fasten her seatbelt, as Jake started the engine.
"Suwon"
Jake replied as he step on the gas and exit the building to make their way to the city. Damin send the location after finding a same pathway has been drove by both, Sunghoon's car and Han Seungmin from his phone location string for the past months.
the older is believe to drove there a few times before his identity being discovered at Heeseung's and Dami's engagement on purpose. As Sunghoon's car once has been stolen, Jake decide to pun on a GPS tracker on the guy car.
his last stop match with where Seungmin's has been going back and forth for few months. after a few comparison, Damin then decide to forward Jake's the final destination that have a major chances of finding Sunghoon there.

the car stop as they reach almost at the end of the road, in the middle of the woods. Jake take a deep breath as he glance at Jiwoo before unbuckle his seatbelt making the girl to do the same.
Jake turn off the engines and lower his upper body and reach something below the girl seat, pull out a suitcase.
"yours"
"luckily I decided to keep it here"
Jake hand her the suitcase leaving the girl confuse before opening it and see her gun. She look at Jake as he load his before slide it in his back pocket, together with the ammo, hiding it the best that he can.
Jiwoo pick up the gun and check the amount of bullet just to found that it is full, but then she remembered she never use it as they just constantly going back and forth from the crime scene, the hospital, and the police station. Jiwoo turn to Jake as she feel him put his hand over her thighs.
"stay close to me"
"okay?"
Jake utter making Jiwoo nod a few times making him smile. He lean to her and peck her forehead before patting her head a few times.
"let's go"
he say as he get out of the car making the girl to do the same. As Jake locked the car, what welcome them is a complete darkness and not to mention that they are in a middle of nowhere where they basically surrounded by big trees.
"you sure they're here?"
Jiwoo questioned, doubting the information given to the guy.
"not really but they're supposed to be here, based on Sunghoon's car last location"
Jake reply making the girl nod as she take a flashlight that Jake hand her. They start walking through the woods, following the small road for a few minutes until they spot something from far which make them widen their eyes before look at each other.
"Sunghoon's car"
they say in unison before rush to the guy car. Jiwoo released a low groan as they stop in front of it, as she feel a slight pain on her stitched thigh making Jake turn to her in worry.
"you okay?"
"do you want me to carry you?"
Jake question making Jiwoo shake her head before walking to Sunghoon's opened car door and try to look for something they could use as a clue to find the missing guy. Han Seungmin she knew will surely lure them with an obvious trap, which is exactly what she is seeking for.
She doesn't really care about how it could help the bad guy to get her as long as he released her friend and doesn't bother anyone else around her then she is good. she stop as she found a piece of paper under the driver seat.

she read.
"Jake, compass"
she say as she stand up and turn to the guy making him pull his phone out and open compass before passing it to her. They're currently facing the North so the girl turn around and adjust her movement until she face the exact direction that the paper stated before folding it and keep it in her jacket.

Jiwoo utter making Jake nod as he follow the girl deeper into the woods.
