"If you don't mind me asking" Rick asks me as we are showering in the police station, Morgan and his son enjoying the hot water—it's the next day and I'm helping Rick find his family "why are you helping me? You don't know me...but your offering to help"

I look at him "You remind me of my father" turning the shower off, grabbing a towel to wrap around my body "but also...I know what it's like to be alone and if your family is out there—I would just like to help, that's all" as I put on a red sleeveless top and blue shorts with black ankle boots. I had a towel up with magic to keep me covered.

"How old are you?" Duane asks me as he and the others get out of the showers to dry off then change

"How old are you?" Duane asks me as he and the others get out of the showers to dry off then change.

"Duane!" His father scolds, yeah he is still wary of me "you never ask a lady her age"

"Sorry" he apologized

"It's alright" I put my hair in french braid "to answer his question I'm about a thousand years old" they stare at me in shock "immortal, remember?"

"Were you alive during the gladiator times?" Duane asks me as I stretch for a bit.

"Yes" nodding my head "and to answer your future question, most gladiators were not dumb despite what history portrayed them as—they had to be clever to survive"

"Here Duane" Rick hands him some clothes "Dressing room, back there" he points

He goes but Morgan says "What do we say?"

"Thank you" Duane leaves then to change

"Atlanta sounds like a good deal" Rick says after some time "Safer anyway—people"

"That's where we were headed" Morgan tells us as I lean against a locker "things got crazy. Man, you wouldn't believe the panic, streets weren't fit to be on"

"This" they look at me "is why supernaturals likes to stay hidden, our rules—the panic you speak of Morgan is the same panic supernaturals did not want to risk"

"Vampires" Morgan asks "would they...would they gather up humans, put them in camps of sorts to make sure that they are safe and make sure they repopulate?"

I would like to assure him, but these are uncertain times and with Aro the way he is and his survival "Possibly" we are silent until going to the room where they keep all the ammunition. Rick opens it up and we unload it all.

"A lot of it's gone missing" cops or robbers have taken it.

"Daddy, can I learn to shoot?" Duane asks "I'm old enough"

"Hell yes, you're gonna learn" Morgan agrees "but we've got to do it carefully, teach you to respect the weapon"

"That's right" Rick adds "it's not a toy, you pull the trigger and you have to mean. Always remember that, Duane"

"Yes, sir" he nods his head as he is handed a gun.

"Here" Morgan says "load up" Duane starts to pack up ammunition.
