Thirty-One

"So what's the problem?" I ask Greer as she introduces me to Alejandro. I'm in this other world seeing why they need my help. My council tells me how they will deal with Negan, that they won't do what they had to with the Governor. I was actually told that the people that the Governor leads wishes for sanctuary since the Governor didn't change. Maggie is staying behind with John to make sure that the people are to be trusted to let in. Some more vampires have come and are helping us.

"The rest of the nukes are going to kill us" Alejandro's mother informs me as the council tells me how they are trying to save themselves and the humans they took in but also the humans here from this nuke that will kill everyone. Apparently I total of everyone there is about twenty thousand people that will need to leave. The vampires told me how they get their blood through blood donations, but also the dead people they gathered up from the wars that they drained them of their blood "even with magic we won't survive since the damage will be irreversible"

"If I agree" I tell them "it's a big if but also we will need help making sure everyone is safe, we are kind of in our own war against these humans called the Saviors"

They make faces "Kill them" someone says

Shaking my head "my plan is to save as many people as I can, the people in Elysium trust me and want me as their leader because I'm offering them something that even your having a hard time promising"

"Oh?" Someone asks "what do you offer?"

"A better world"

~Time Skip~

"Who are you?" Two people look at me, one with a very large weird hand. She has exotic tan skin with brown eyes and brown hair, she has tattoos on her face while the other guy has normal skin with brown hair and brown eyes.

"My name is Phoenix" leaning against the wall, they stare at me "John is it? And Emori, right?" What if I can offer you and everyone a chance to survive this radiation that will kill you?" They stare at me "you'll need to help me in return"

"What in return would we need to help you with?" John asks

I smile shrugging my shoulders "Simply help rebuild our world, rebuild so that we can have a world that we will all be happy to live in"

"Oh?" Emori crossed her arms "what world is that?"

"A better one" they listen to me "I come from a world where after you die you come back as walkers, walkers are dead people who only want to eat. They don't think or anything, zombies really-I have a community called Elysium. Humans and supernaturals live in peace-families are raising their kids without fear. What I'm offering you both just like I'm going to offer those who want it is simply, a new life. One where it doesn't matter who you were before but who you are now"

They share a look "This seems too good to be true" John says "I don't know if I should trust you"

"I expected you to say that" nodding my head "but know this, if you take my offer I promise you that you won't regret it. I'll try with all my power to keep you safe, to give you a life where you don't have to fear living"

"We'll think this over" Emori tells me

Nodding my head I go into the lab where I see several people "Who are you?" A woman in her Middle Ages with brown hair, normal skin and brown eyes asks me.

"My name is Phoenix" using the rails to help me walk down the stairs, once I'm here I look around the place "nice lab" looking at the humans "I'm here because I'm the answer to your problems"

"Oh?" The blonde demands "and how are you going to solve our problems?"

"Don't use that time with me" I warn looking at her "I'm here to offer you a place in my home where you can escape the radiation fog-the last time I dealt with someone with an attitude like yours blondie I killed that person so don't think I won't kill you if I think you will harm my people"

"My name is Jackson" a guy says offering his hand, I shake his hand "can you tell us what you mean by escaping the radiation fog?"

"I'm not from this world" I sit down placing my hands on my belly as I stare at these five people "I'm from another where zombies exist but we call them walkers. I have a community called Elysium where humans and supernaturals are learning to live in peace with one another. I'm offering a place for you and your people, the supernaturals from this world have agreed to come to live in my community"

"Why should we trust you?" A guy who has brand marks on his face crossed his arms.

"It isn't trust that your looking for is it?" I ask "you want confirmation that if I bring you all that you'll all have a place in my community, I want to be clear right now that it'll take time-possibly one to two years for homes to be built since I was told that I might expect over three thousand people to join. See" I snap my fingers and out comes a map and I use magic to hold it up "this is a map of what Elysium will look like as a whole-humans will be in one sector, shifters in another sector" the woods, I'll be adding woods too instead of continuing to chop down trees. I'll just clean it up if anything Walker like and then put a wall around it "sirens and merfolk here, witches here, vampires, etc." looking at the humans who look from the map to me "this Compound you found? It can only hold up to a few hundred people, this you'll be able to bring more of your people but I have to warn you now that things will be a bit crowded until homes are built"

"In your settlement" the one with brands asks "what's the catch?"

"Everyone pitches in" I tell them "we need people teaching children, help take care of children if the parent is working, farmers, pet carers, etc."

"I don't speak for Skaikru" he says "but Azgeda Nation would like to take this offer" nodding my head.

"When does the fog come in?" I ask

"A couple weeks at best" the rude blonde says "so this place, your offering us a chance to survive?" Nodding my head "it's a better solution then trying to make black blood"
