~Months Later~

"Why" Dale asks "are we in a prison? I thought the goal was going up to Virginia?"

"It is" nodding my head "but after losing the...men" looking at Rick "I'm sorry, I should have trusted you" turns out the men we found were rapists and I killed them myself. We took their blood before killing them aka by fire.

"You wanted to believe that they were good" Rick places a hand on my shoulder "anyone would have done the same, they offered manpower which we needed"

"Again" Hershel asks "why are we here?" We took over the yard of a prison that we found, mainly because I need to wake the animals up and take care of them.

"The animals" I tell them "I need to wake them up every few months as you know, keep them sated and everything" looking around at everyone "also a friend of mine, Mimmi is coming to help with things" she went to the other world but she's coming back when I told her about my plans "plus we need to rest for Lori and her baby, Aisha and Zephyr" Aisha and Amelia had their babies on the run. Both boys "and Amelia and Josh. They need to rest-we will start back up in a few months after the baby in Lori is out and Lori has had time to adjust like Aisha and Amelia"

"Mom!" Looking over, I see Bryce come over "I found a group of military men, they've got weapons. Just men" Bryce was gone for a few days, using her abilities to see where the herds go and to see if there is a pattern "they seem trustworthy enough"

"Which way?" I ask

"Are you sure?" Rick asks "cause the last time"

"Last time I didn't listen to you" looking at him "this time your coming with-everyone" everyone looks at me "keep up on your guard, Hershel and Dale are in charge while we are gone" going to the truck, we get in before going to where Bryce found the people. Rick is in the back while I'm up front with Bryce in the passenger seat as she drives "how are things with Lori?"

"She's worried about the baby" Rick tells us "it's not moving"

"It's healthy" Bryce says "alive and strong, we can hear it"

"That's good" nodding his head

"What's wrong?" Looking at him as he doesn't say anything "Rick..."

"I love Lori, I do" nodding his head "I understand she did what she did, she moved on but...now that I'm back and her having my best friends child? Things are so tense between us-the animals? When you wake them will you grow them back? To their original size?"

"No" shaking my head "not until things have been resolved with the whole creating Elysium or at least the wall"

Bryce turns one way and we come across these men dressed in camouflage, they have their guns out and I roll down the window waving the white cloth as a flag. Getting out, we hold our hands up "Who are you?" The leader demands

"My name is Phoenix" I introduce myself "this is my daughter Bryce and my second Rick"

"Stop" the one in the middle orders, we do and he has his men frisk us. They pull out a gun from Rick and a few knives we have "what do you want?"

"We have a group" I say "I'm the leader, we plan on going north to Virginia to create a community, a sanctuary where people will be safe and regrow. Start new"

"We had that" the man before me says "I'm Charles, the leader...our sanctuary fell a day ago, everything gone in a few hours. How can we trust what you say?"

"We understand if you don't" Rick says "but know this our group, my wife is about to have a child and we have two other new mothers. We came here to see if you could join us and help keep them safe but also to be safe yourselves" if Rick is speaking then it means he trusts the men before us aren't like the men we had brought in before.

"Stay right there" Charles orders, two men keep their guns on us as he talks it over with some of the other men. Coming back he says "if we come with, we need assurances that your sanctuary will be safe for us"

"We understand" nodding my head "we are currently on the move since our final destination is Virginia but if we are to add you to our group we need assurances that you'll put in your work, help"

"You've got our word" nodding his head "this is Robert-lower your guns" the two men do but their still on guard "this is Conner" another Conner, hopefully this one isn't a rapist "Andrew, Donald, Douglas, Kallias, Jack, Newton, and lastly Yuriel"

"Follow my truck, we are currently staying in a prison yard" I say

"Why the yard?" Kallias asks

"Because we just made camp" I explain "also one last thing you should know, my daughter and I-we aren't humans"

"She can be trusted" Rick says quickly as they draw their guns "I'm a fellow human as you are"
