Twenty-Seven

"So, this is the place where we'll be setting up camp?" Daryl asks as we look around at the land.

Nodding my head "first things first, we start building the wall, all around here" motioning with my hand. That is our main priority" after a few days, we found this large farmable land in Virginia. Now that we are here, it's important now more than ever to start Elysium.

"Which means we need to draw a line" Demetri says "of how large everything will be, by the looks of it...let's start off with two thousand acres. If we take down the trees over there we could add a bit more to it, make it three thousand"

"That's a lot of land" Maggie says "I mean do we have enough supplies to build a wall for something that large?"

"Yes" nodding our heads "John here will start to connect the stone together while you all set them in a row. But most importantly we don't let any of the animals out until the wall is built"

"What about our people?" Tyreese asks

"We have everyone get out, but everyone stays together. Build the tents, make sure the pregnant women don't over exert themselves" I say "at night whatever we don't get done the vampires will keep an eye out for walkers"

"So how will the walls be?" Glen asks

"Because I still have Minecraft on my iPad" I show them the wall design for what I was picturing them the towers at the four points near the edges including the towers between. Then over all "this is what the whole wall should come down to looking like"

"I'm curious" Glen asks "will you add a moat?"

"Glen" Bryce whispers

"I'm sorry" waving to the drawing "but this looks like the beginning for a moat"

"No" shaking my head "there won't be moats" I then show them my next design, still using Minecraft "then inside we will have the fields with the crops and livestock, then a wooden wall will be made. We also need a storage tower made for food during the winter to keep the fruits, vegetables and meat fresh" moving around on the screen "lastly we have the buildings which will be made of stone, we have wood to help keep things up but in short we have most of this be made of stone"

"What about the extra land?"

"I was thinking of making a park, add a playground. Something for the kids while we could also add in an indoor pool. A YMCA?" Looking around "we better get going, we only have a certain amount of hours and I need to help Mimmi and Greet check over the pregnant women and children"

"We'll get started" Felix and Maggie go to run while Demetri finds the person who killed the rats and rabbit. The person who was feeding the walkers.

Some of the people set up the tents, others help with the wall, others start I pull out different supplies. "Hey" Lori comes in with Judith "how are things?"

"Good" looking at her as I take Judith to give her a check up "why?"

"With everything my going on" she says "we wonder how your doing mentally since this can be stressful, deciding something not just for yourself but for other people. Especially when we keep pressuring you to get the other humans in Volterra" oh yes, I've been asked non stop about that and I told them all I will get to it when I can because I don't know what to do. No one knows how those humans will react, if they will be complete savages or not. It's more humane if we end them if the humans don't show any sign of humanity in them some might think I'm taking the easy way out but I'm not. I'm considering every option that is being presented to me.

"Judith is all happy and healthy" handing her back to Lori "how are things with Rick? He and you"

"We're ending it" she says "I thought we could get through this but we can't...he's fallen for another"
