"UNFORESEEN TWISTS"

Vikram:
Chodna matt Sumedh ko Mallika.
Mallika:
Kyun Dad?
Vikram:
Dhoka diya usne tumhe!
Mallika:
Dhoka toh apne bhi diya Dad. Usse mere pass apne rakha.
Uske aur mere beech jo kuch bhi hua, woh apke wajah se huaAgar aap usse mere pass rehene ko na kehete toh ye sab nahi hota. Main uske aur Joshi ke beech mein isiliye nahi aa rahi kyunki usne mujhe dhoka diya...issiliye aa rahi hu kyunki usne mere pyaar ka fayda uthaya.
Usse lagta hai ki woh mujhe jaanta hai.
Mujhe uske wrong prove karna hai. Usse dikhana hai ki main tooti hu...haari nahi hu.

Vikram is shocked to see this side of Mallika.

Some days later.

Joshi had a event. He stayed in a hotel. His event was in hall of same hotel.
Mallika was around Joshi so was Sumedh.
Joshi was giving a speech when lights went off. Mallika became alert and when the lights came back, Joshi was missing, as expected.
Mallika knew Sumedh well. But she knew Army men better. They were trained to do things in public eye yet not get caught. Basement was too common right now. She knew he would take Joshi where people would never think of Joshi being. She rushed to Joshi's room. They door was locked from inside. She thought of shooting the knob to open but she knew that the sound of her trying to open the door must have reached Sumedh, so would know it is her, why work hard, when u can not work at all!?
She knocked at the door. She was breathing heavily.

Mallika:
Darwaja kholo Sumedh.

There was silence and Sumedh opened the door. Gun in his hand. Mallika stepped in.

Sumedh:
Knock toh dost karte hai Major, Apko darwaja tod kar aana chahiye tha.

Something gets hurt inside her when He calls her his enemy. But she thinks that yes, She is his enemy!

Sumedh:
Saans phul rahi hai apki, Major. Pani pilije..

He opens a fresh bottle and offers her water. She drinks water without breaking eye contact.
He sits in bed and Joshi is tied to a chair. He is looking confused at both of them. He is too scared to say anything.

Mallika:
CM ko chodo.
Sumedh:
Tumhe pata hai tum na boards ke paper mein jo examiner hota hai na, jo keheta hai 'Agar koi chits laaye ho toh de do!' Haa matlab bc uske liye hi raat bhar jag ke banaye the na humne!

She wanted to laugh but she couldn't.

Mallika:
Country needs him right now. Pehle hi farmers strike chal rahi hai. Its wrong. We can't take law in our hands Sumedh. Joshi ki lawfully punish--
Sumedh:
Tumne mujhse kaha tha ki tum mujhe goli marne se pehele 100 baar sochogi, I hope tum soch rahi ho, kyunki mujhe maare bina toh tum mujhe rok nahi paaogi.

Mallika gets irritated and points her gun at Sumedh. Sumedh gets up and points gun at Joshi. Joshi trembles in fear.

Joshi:
Main main..surrender kar dunga! Pl jaane do mujhe!
Sumedh:
Tere paiso ke lajach ke wajah se 120 soliders ki jaan gayi. Agar tu unke weapons ke paiso se apna farmhouse nahi bandhta toh aaj 120 parivaar bachte...
Mallika:
Sumedh I agree ki inhone bohot galat kiya hai but hum inki asliyat sabke saamne laayenge.

Sumedh who was looking at Joshi, looks at Mallika now.

Sumedh:
TUM AUR MAIN...HUM NAHI HAI.
Mallika:
Listen to me. WE will prove him guilty, then when he is jailed, You can kill him in jail...
Sumedh:
Major Mallik, aap dushman ke saath sula karne ka soch rahi hai?
Mallika:
MAIN TUMHARI DUSHMAN HO SAKTI HU, TUM MERE DUSHMAN NAHI HO.
Sumedh:
Uss din toh dushman vibes de rahi thi.
Mallika:
Abhi bhi de sakti hu agar meri bat nahi maani toh.

Sumedh ignores Mallika and unlocks the gun. Joshi starts panicking and makes fake promises. Mallika stands in between Sumedh and Joshi just as he was going to fire Joshi.

Mallika:
Mujhpe goli chalao phir inpe.
Sumedh:
Main sach mein goli maar dunga Mallika.
Mallika:
Maardo.
Sumedh:
Tumhari 100 baar sochne ki ginti khatam nahi hui kya abhi takk?!

He says with a frustrated face and tone.

Sumedh:
Hatto Mallika.

She doesn't move.
Now Sumedh points the gun at Mallika's head. His eyes are threatening but also helpless at Mallika's stubborness.

He uses the end the gun to hit Mallika's head. Yes, He doesn't shoot her.
Just as Mallika is falling, she holds Sumedh's gun. His hand is already on the trigger and she puts her finger around his and shoot Joshi. The bullet hits Joshi's stomach and he screams.

Sumedh looks confused at Mallika. He doesn't understand why did she shoot Joshi when 20 secs ago she was trying to convince him not to kill Joshi. Before he could question, He sees Joshi is alive and he shoot 2 bullets back to back in his chest. So Mallika pressed the trigger first, fatally injuring Joshi and Sumedh's bullet kills Joshi.

There are aggressive knocks an bangs at door.

Sumedh:
Police..! Mallika bhago!

He says forgetting his questions. Just as he moves to get out of the window, she stops him by holding his hand.
He looks at her with a question mark as the bangs get more aggressive.
She again wrapps her finger around his finger at the trigger and shoot herself in the stomach.
Her back arches because of the pain. Sumedh's body stiffens due to shock. He looks confused at Mallika who is not even break eye contact. He wrapps his hand around her waist as she loses control over her body. Blood starts coming from her mouth and she struggles to keep her eyes open.

Sumedh:
WH...WH..WHYYY?
Mallika:
BH...BH...BHA....BHAAG....BHAAGO SUM--

And she gives up and loses entire grip and falls unconscious in his arms. He hadn't even processed her words and the door broke up with police and they gripped his arms and separated Mallika from him.

Sumedh:
MALLIKAAA!!

"BH...BH...BHA....BHAAG....BHAAGO SUM--"

Her words echo in his ears and he punchs the officer away and runs away through the window.
Just as he reachs the main road, He sees police officers hurrying Mallika in the ambulance. He runs his fingers through his hair in confusion and frustration. He hears police running towards him. He sees the hospital name on the ambulance and runs away.

Why did Mallika do this?
What will happen to Sumedh now?
