Sumedh enters kitchen when Mallika is making tea. He sits on the counter beside her.
She is staring down at the tea.
Sumedh notices.

Sumedh:
Kya soch rahi ho?
Mallika:
Umm...Sumedh did you mean what you said?
Sumedh:
What did I say?
Mallika:
About the independent women thing..
Sumedh:
Ofc I did. I meant all of it.
Mallika:

Sumedh:

Sumedh looks at her while she is still looking down.
She looks at him.

Mallika:
You thought so much, You took such care about my feeling even when you were just playing me....?
Sumedh:
Hmmm....

He looks down. Mallika is intensly staring at him.

Mallika:
Why?
Sumedh:
BECAUSE YOU MATTER...BECAUSE YOU MATTER TO ME, MALLIKA.
Mallika:

They are having the most intense eye contact ever! Tea overflows before Sumedh could answer. Sumedh just cuts the topic and takes a tray for the tea while she serves him tea.

Mallika:
You didn't answer my question Sumedh..
Sumedh:
If you need an answer, If probably shouldn't answer this one...Let you find out.

This irks Mallika.

Mallika:
Oh yaa! I know! Your guilt! That "I am playing with this girl, I should take care of her till its time to break her!!" Or or or or, "She shouldn't cut contact till my mission completes!"

Now this irks Sumedh.

He says silently taking a sip. Mallika walks away to her room.

He yells. Mallika overhears. She bangs on his door and he opens the door.

Mallika:
Agar bolna hai toh mere mu pe aake bolo Sumedh! Aur marathi mein bakk bakk karna band karo!
Sumedh:
Meri mother tongue hai, main karunga bakk bakk.
Mallika:
Accha ab ispe bhi tumhe bhess karni hai!?
Sumedh:
Aree tum jao yarr apne kamre mein, mera dimag matt khao!
Mallika:
