Sumedh gets Mallika flowers. He remembered Mallika's excited eyes when he got her flowers. The flower she got him...he is preserving it. He doesn't look romantic but he is and Mallika doesn't go to girlish but she likes old school romance.
Mallika: Thank You! Sumedh: Anything for that smile Mallika. Mallika: YOU STILL LOVE ME, DON'T YOU?
That came as bomb on Sumedh.
Sumedh: Oh...good question.
Mallika started laughing and Sumedh did laugh a bit. He rubbed behind his neck.
Sumedh: You really want me to answer? Mallika: Yes. Sumedh: You know the anwer Major Mallika. And I know that we can never go back where we were. So pull up your socks Major! Get working! Mallika: Yes Advocate Mudgalkar!
They smile. Mallika as planned shifts with Sumedh in his house...not romantically...just as best friends and Uncle being Mallika's 2nd dad...takes care of her, even scolds Sumedh for not taking care of her.
Mallika later goes in her room after dinner and all that good night sweet dreams stuff. As she enters the room, her guffy smiles turns into frustrated face. She sticks her back to the door. Bents her head back and closes her eyes and breathes a long breathe. As if she was faking the guffy smile as this while.
She takes a chit out of her pocket.
