They are sitting beside each other in sofa in her living room.

Sumedh gets a call from Anil and he picks it up and goes to other room.
Sumedh:

Anil:
Where are you?
Sumedh:
With Mallika, at her place.
Anil:
Are you...are you crazy? Aree tum toh phasne hi wale ho! Saath mein usse bhi phasana hai kya!?
Sumedh:
I..I..I need to talk to her.
Anil:
Sumedh, Get out of her house right now. If anyone...Anyone in Pune comes to know you are back...Tumpe inquiry baithegi...jisme Veronica matter toh prove nahi hoga but Vikram Singh ke saath involvement prove karna koi mushkil nahi hai!
Sumedh:

Anil:
Get the fuck out of her house now!
He cuts the call. Sumedh looks down to the floor. He puts down his mask. He sits on a chair near. Buries his face in his palms.
Sumedh:
I don't want to go---
Sobs escape his mouth. But he quickly wipes of his tears. Turns to the door wearing mask. His mask is on his chin when he turns to the door.
Mallika standing on the door.
Sumedh:
Maa..Mallika..
His voice has stress. Mallika slowly walks in. She notices a scar on his face. He quickly wears his mask.
Mallika:
Mask utaro Sumedh..
He nodded in disagreement. She pulls down his mask. There is a deep scar in his cheek. She slightly touches it and he flinches in pain.
Mallika:
Who did this to you?
Sumedh:
V...v...Veronica.
Mallika:
What the fuck!?
Sumedh:
I...I..need to leave Mallika.
He steps out of the room but she holds his hand and stops him.
Mallika:
Kisse baat kar rahe the? Aur kya baat karni hai tumhe mujhse? Veronica ne yeh kyun kiya?
Sumedh:
Just forget I came here. Just forget you met me today. JUST FORGET YOU EVER FELL IN LOVE WITH ME. FORGET MY BETRAYAL. FORGET YOU FELL OUT OF LOVE. FORGET OUR LONDON DAYS. FORGET YOU LEFT ME. FORGET YOU EVER ME.
He shook her hand off and opened the main door to get out. Anil was standing out.
Mallika:
Sir aap..?
Anil stared at Sumedh angrily.
Anil slapped Sumedh.
Mallika:
Sumedh!
Anil:
Its been 15 mins since I called...Why the fuck are you still here? Khud jaha phasna hai phaso, Mallika ko baksh do!
Sumedh:
I...I was just leaving.
Mallika:
No he was not! He is not leaving! Ab ja takk aap dono mujhe puri baat nahi batate tab takk main Sumedh ko kahi nahi jaane dungi.
Anil:
SUMEDH KILLED VERONICA!
Mallika:
What?!
Sumedh:
I DIDN'T KILL HER! SHE KILLED HERSELF!
They sit on in her room. Anil closes all the windows ans curtains.
Sumedh:
I went to meet Veronica in the prison because a kid handed me over a chit saying she wanted to tell me something. I was wearing a goggle because...I don't know why! She told me how misrable she was and how I was responsible for it. She pulled my goggles, broke the stick and attack me. I was still recovering coz as you can see...She used all power she had...the next thing I saw was that she stabbed that stick inside her throat! And that killed her. I ran away. I couldn't sit and explain this to London police!
Mallika silent listening to Sumedh.
Anil:
Police found Veronica dead. As per CCTV, He met her last. They were searching for him when he unannounced arrived at my doorstep...to India. The prblm is, If Sumedh gets back to work here, Vikram Singh Matter will raise again.
Mallika:
So what do you want him to do?
Anil:
Go anywhere but stay out of sight!
Mallika:
Run you mean?
Anil:
Yeah!
Mallika:
For the rest of his life!?
Anil:
People will forget all this in 3-4 years Mallika!
She gets up.
Mallika:
Sir I respect you. But I WON'T LET SUMEDH LEAVE. HE IS HERE...WITH ME...I'LL DO ANYTHING TO KEEP HIM FOR GOING ON A RAN FOR 4 YEARS!
Anil:
Fine! Whatever suits you!
Anil leaves.
Sumedh:
What is wrong with you Mallika!? You'll ruin your career!
Mallika:
I TURNED MY BACK ON YOU A YEAR AGO AND NOW...I WON'T LEAVE YOU ALONE FOR A SECOND! I heard you voice, The stress in it. You eyes have nothing but fear! You have changed in this one year Sumedh. Gone through a lot alone....So now...You are not alone.
Sumedh stares at her for some seconds. He looks at the floor. He has tears in his eyes.
Sumedh:
PLEASE HUG ME MALLIKA.
Mallika steps towards him and throws her arms around him. He snuggles his face in the crook on her neck.
Sumedh:
Thank you.
