I'm Sorry I Love You - Jeongin (Skz) part 1

Chan: One more time and you're free to go, kay?
Minho:*nod* Alright.
Changbin: Hyung?
Minho: Hm?
Changbin: Can you try singing it with lighter voice?
Minho: Lighter voice?
Changbin:*nod* Maybe it's gonna sound better with lighter voice.
Minho: I'll give it a try.

StrayKids is currently at their own recording studio, recording one of their side track that gonna be included in their newest album. 3racha and the producers are sitting on the other side of the room, giving feedbacks and complimenting on the members' who are recoding their parts.

Until now, three members have recorded their part. The members being Seungmin, Jisung, and Minho.

Jisung:*nod* Yeah, that sounds a lot better.
Minho: How is it?
Jisung:*play the recording back* How do you think hyung?
Minho:*nod* Sounds good.
Changbin:*stretch* Alright!
Minho: Whose turn is next?
Jisung: Innie?
Chan: Aight, I'll call him.

Chan: Innie?
Jeongin: Yeah hyung?
Chan: It's your turn to record.
Jeongin: Be there soon hyung!

Hyunjin: You can do it Innie!
Jeongin: Hm.
Hyunjin:*pout* Only that?
Jeongin: Thanks hyung.
Hyunjin:*smile* That's more like it.
Jeongin: I'll go first hyung.
Hyunjin:*nod* Goodluck!

The youngest of the grup, StrayKids, steps inside the recording booth nervously, constantly letting out big breath. 3racha, from the other side of the room could sense their maknae's nervousness clearly. The youngest always feel nervous entering the recording booth, maybe because the effect of the negative comments he used to get back in their debut days.

Jisung: Its gonna be okay Innie.
Changbin: Just try your best hm?
Jeongin:*sigh* Okay.
Changbin: Should we start now?
Jeongin:*nod* Please.

The song that he had repeated almost ten times each day since last week, could be heard from the headphone he is wearing. His part is reaching soon, and he takes one last breath before singing his part just like what he had practiced. He closes his eyes through out the part, he just sings it out, no wanting to care about his hyungs' reaction for now.

Inside his mind, all the advices his vocal teacher have told him, all the emotions he has tried to deliver in each note, roam around. Closing his eyes is one of the way he has figured out to let his emotions get the very best of him and could be clearly heard from the songs he is singing.

When he finally open his eyes, he could see all of his hyungs' there. Staring at him with mouth open ajar. He is not surprised by the fact that not only 3racha are there, but what confused him is the way they stare at him.

Changbin:*excited* Innie!
Jeongin:*confuse* Huh?
Chan: Innie-ah-
Jeongin: Did i do ba-
Chan:*smile* You are the best you know?
Jisung: Should we continue to the other part right now?
Jeongin:*confused* I do not need to repeat the part?
Jisung: Do you want to?

Jeongin sure is confused. 3racha is known to be the most perfectionist ones in the group, especially about songs that will be released to the world. It will usually take three to four times to record the same part, even when it already sounds perfect in the first recording.

Jeongin:*confused* I can continue?
Chan:*nod* Yep.
Jeongin: Just with one take?
Changbin: Yes Innie.
Jeongin: Eh?

Even when all his hyungs said that it is okay for him to continue recording his other part, he is still unsure about the part he just recorded.

Jeongin: Is it okay if I listen to the part first hyung?
Chan: Sure!

The familiar melody he had listened many times before, with his voice dancing on it, came to him through the headphone he is wearing. For him, he sang quite well, just like how he had practiced. He analysis how his hyungs' expression are, and when he can't seem to find any dissatisfaction on them, he let out a relief sigh.

Changbin: So? How is it Innie?
Jeongin:*nod* It's good.
Chan:*smile* Should we move on to other part?
Jeongin: Yes please.

And, the same situation keeps on repeating all by itself. It takes only one take to make all his hyungs satisfied with his recording, though he did insisted to record some parts multiple times just to be sure that Stays get the best out of the best.

Seungmin: You rock the recording today Innie.
Felix:*smile* You sure had practiced a lot Innie.
Changbin: Innie! *hug* I'm proud of you!
Jeongin:*taken back* Ahh, ca-can't breath!

As the recording finished for all eight of them, they hurried back to their dorm. Hurrying their manager as they are not able to hold their excitement back any longer. They really really wanna know what or the reason, their maknae rock the recording. They are not envy nor jealous, they are genuinely happy and proud for him and simply curious of what he has practiced.

Even in their way home, they keep on rambling about how proud and good his recording went. Going back with two cars? Not a problem. They keep the conversation going using phone call.

Jeongin:*whine* Hyung!
Jisung: Come one Innie! Share your secret with us!
Jeongin: There are no secre-
Felix: Ey, don't be so secretive!
Jeongin: B-bu-
Chan:*chuckle* Hey hey, let Innie breath guys.
Hyunjin: Innie~ Can't you at least tell your favourite hyung?
Changbin: It's me!

Seungmin:*raise an eyebrow* Since when you are his favourite hyung?
Hyunjin: Always.
Changbin: Oi, it's me drama llama.
Seungmin: And since when it's you?
Changbin: Haven't you watch the talker?
Hyunjin: What should that do with this?
Changbin:*proud* He said that my thigh is the best to nap.
Seungmin:*rolled eyes* Oh please, don't you know it's me?
Hyunjin: Hey-

Minho: Can't you guys quiet down a little?
Seungmin:*ignoring* It's me Bin hyung.
Hyunjin:*smirk* It's neither of you, it's me!
Changbin:*bickering* It's me!
Jisung: I just asked him and he said it's me!
Minho:*sigh* Can you guys *glare* quiet down?
Jisung:*panic* Yes hyung.
Hyunjin:*quickly* My mouth is sealed.
Minho: Thanks.
Felix: Innie?
Jeongin: I really don't have any special way hyung. I just practiced like- like- usual!
Chan:*shrugged* Well, if you keep on saying so.
Changbin:*wiggle eyebrows* Have you been in the situation?

The question make Jeongin's cheek flushed and his eyes tremble in nervousness. And, that sure shock the rest. Changbin threw that question out purely just to tease the cute maknae and not to make him flustered.

Changbin:*whisper* Did I say something wrong?
Jeongin:*flustered* I-it's- nothing hyung.
Jisung: Can you really connect with the song Innie?
Chan:*sigh* Sung.

Forget to mention, the song that they had recorded was 'I'm Sorry I Love You'.

Jeongin:*flustered* It's no-nothing hyung.
Felix:*wiggle eyebrows* You know that secret is best when it's shared right?
Chan: Since whe-
Changbin:*hurried* Shush hyung.
Minho:*nod* Keep going.
Jisung:*nod* Hm hm.
Seungmin: For the first time I agree with them.

With his three hyungs keep on pestering him to tell the back story, or his secrets, he just give the most helpless look to the oldest, Chan hyung, hoping that he could calm the three and let him off the bait.

Jeongin: Chan hyung?
Chan:*chuckle* Sorry Innie, I'm quite curious myself.
Changbin:*wiggle eyebrows* I could take some ideas for the new song you know.
Chan: Good idea.
Changbin: So, Innie, when will you start?
Jeongin:*whine* Not you too hyung.
Chan: What do you think Minho?
Minho:*smirk* Well-
Jeongin:*hopeful eyes* Hyung?
Minho:*smirk* I would love to hear too.

Jeongin gave them the most devastated look as all seven hyungs are pestering him to tell. And, honestly, his hyungs find his' expression so damn cute.

Jeongin:*sigh* But it's gonna be a very very boring story.
Changbin:*wink* Nothing is boring if it's you.
Felix: Cheesy.
Seungmin:*smirk* But it is boring if it's you.
Changbin: Oi.
