Race day

Max was out on the track, i was staying in the garage. I was feeling guilty because of our argument with him. For sure arguments are not the best thing we can do since I'm pregnant and he's at the end of his season. The race was stressful, Max wasn't at the best position for sure. I was feeling little scared because of the fact we can fight again because Red Bull are fucking it up. It was the end of the race Max was P6 Checo P7. Even if Checo needed that points Max didn't let him overtake him.

"Max let Checo trough please. Max? Max what happened?"
"How many times i told you to not ask me that?" I think i gave my reasons and i stay by it."

I was wordless, it was a new drama and everyone will want to gossip that. I don't think i was ready for the pressure. I go to Christian to see how Max reacted after he got out of the car. Unfortunately he was there too. I was worried but still go there

"I needed you." - he come straight to me and hug me
"Hey love, erm..are you okay?"
"Yes, we need to talk about this, you can go and wait for us with Carola." - he smile to me
"Okay.." - i nod and go back to Red Bull

Carola was there waiting for Checo

"What happened to them?" - she look at me
"I don't know...I was shocked too. Max is calm but i-i don't know.."
"It's not your fault, they're mature enough to deal with it." - she pull me for a hug
"I feel sick.." - i run to the bathroom and she run with me
"Maybe it's for the best to go to Max's room to get some rest."
"Yeah, the baby is kicking pretty hard and it makes me even more sick and tired."
"Come on, I'm sure they'll be okay." - she take me to Max's room

I layed on his couch and start breathing heavily, i was nervous because of the situation. I stayed there for like hours after the race. I hear footsteps and Max's voice. I was quite tired so just stand and wait for him

"It's everything okay?" - he pull me for a hug
"Erm..yeah!" - i smile and enjoy the moment
"What happened with you two?" - i ask in a scared tone
"It's a complicated thing babe, I don't think you need to deal with it too. We're okay." - he smile and start changing
"Okay...are we going home or?"
"Actually..no but i will send you home with Lando or Charles. I need to fly to London to finnish the talks and clear the things, i still have one more race."
"Okay, no problem." - i answer normally

Even if i sounded okay with that, i always hate when Max is not around especially now when I'm pregnant. He knew it but what can he do since there's an argument in the team right before Abu Dhabi.

"Okay, let's go I'll drive you to the airport you're going with Charles and Lando for double safe, I'll be home as soon as i can." - he kiss me gently and we go to the car.

The whole ride was silence, Max was looking so concentrated and serious. When we arrive at the airport he help me with my stuff and to get in the jet. Lando and Charles were waiting for me. I sit down and exhale in relief. The baby was kicking pretty hard and i was sure i needed Max but i have Lando and Charles. Which is not bad i love them so much but the feeling of needing your boyfriend is different. Max come and kiss me and my belly again whispering me "i love you". He talked something with Lando and Charles and after some time he left.

"Em do you need something? Are you feeling okay?" - Charles sit opposite me and Lando sit next to him
"Honestly, i want this argument to stop and Max to be here with me..but since he's not maybe some sleep." - i tried to make myself comfortable and fall asleep even if the baby it's kicking as hell.

After a long flight we landed in Monaco. The boys were talking with Max on the phone. He just landed in London with the team too. After a short talking they decided to wake me up and take me in Max's apartment.

"Em time to wake up, we're here." - Charles tap my shoulder and rub it gently

I started to wake up in serious pain from the baby's kicking

"I swear this one will be a football player with this kickings"
"Are you in pain?" - the asked both while they were helping me to climb the stairs to Max's apartment
"In a huge pain, the little one is missing his daddy i see." - i laugh a little
"We're staying with you this night. You don't need to worry we will sleep on the couch." - Charles was talking while he was unlocking the apartment
"No, there's a guest rooms you're not supposed to sleep on the couch." - i said while i was walking through the apartment
"We will be okay. Do your things and if there's something we're right here." - Lando smile to me and sit on the couch as Charles
"Thank you boys, it means a lot to be here." - i smile and head to the bathroom.

I clearly needed a hot shower to calm the baby a little bit cause with this kicks will be impossible to sleep. I spend a hour in the bathroom doing my things and stuff. I go out and show the boys where they can sleep, because it will be rude to leave them sleep on the couch.

"Seriously, Max always cooks since I'm pregnant so I'll order what to you want?"
"Burgers?" - Charles look at us
"Sounds good." - Lando nod
"Okay burgers then." - i smile and order.

We spend some time eating and talking, it was getting pretty late so i decided to go to bed even if I don't wanted without Max. I said goodnight to the boys and head to the bedroom. After some time i finally fall asleep in a comfortable position for me and the baby. He or she stopped kicking me so i was sleeping okay.
