George slammed the door and looked me in the eye.
"George what is it? please tell me" I pleaded.
George's POV
Jess was staring at me, she looked worried but I had to lie. I couldn't tell her just yet. It honestly killed me lying to her but it was better to lie to her and still have her rather than tell the truth and lose her, I just couldn't cope with that right now.
"its nothing babe" I said.
"George come on, just tell me" she shouted.
"fine fine, it's just Alys reckons im using you like I used her apparently" I lied. "I didn't use her Jess and I will not use you".
"that's it? that's what she was on about" Jess laughed.
"yeah" I lied.
"wow what a freak and I know you wont use me and didn't use her babe" Jess laughed, as we walked into the kitchen.
No one was home. Harriet and Will were out and my parents were working.
Jess stood there, admiring family photos on the wall.
"wow, your sister is so pretty" Jess smiled.
"haha thanks I guess" I laughed, cutting two bagels in half and putting them into the toaster.
"you have a lovely house too" Jess said, sitting down on one of the kitchen stools.
"thanks babe" I laughed. "Do you like orange juice?".
"obviously? who doesn't" Jess giggled.
"oooo sorry" I laughed, pouring two glasses of orange juice and putting the carton back into the fridge.
After about 20 minutes we'd finished our breakfast and was wondering what to do today. I liked Jess, I really liked Jess. I hated keeping things from her and I couldn't think straight at the thought of Alys coming between us.
Jess' POV
I could see something was bothering George because he went from all happy to not very talkative, but I didn't want to say anything.
"oh my god, we should go buy a paddling pool or something" I said.
"I already have one" George smiled. "come on".
He took my hand and walked me out to the back garden. It was so beautiful and big. The grey patio led onto a large stretch of green grass outlined with brightly coloured flowers with a large red shed on the right hand side of the garden.
On the patio were four sun loungers and a big glass table with an umbrella in the middle.
"I'll go get the pool, it's in the shed" George smiled, running to the shed.
I decided to text Liv..
Hello, what you doing today then? You didn't really say much this morning xx
She then replied straight away..
Heeeey, just over Jaymi's and Olly's:) chilling out the back garden that's all, wbu? and wanna do something tomorrow like us 4 girls cos the boys are gonna be auditioning all day arent they xx
"gonna help me put this up then?" George laughed, dumping a deflated pool in the middle of the grass.
"two minutes, just texting liv back" I shouted.
ah right have fun! and putting a pool up over George's haha. um yeah sure, how come the girls aren't going with the boys tomorrow then?xx
She replied straight back..
