"What?" I said quietly, staring down at Harriet who was sat on the sand.
Alys and Alana burst out laughing, turning my cheeks a bright shade of pink.
"I told you so" Alys sniggered, barging past me.
I said nothing but sat back down into the sand and stared into the distance. Everyone was silent. Nothing was awkward but everyone had nothing to say. Well, we had a lot to say but didnt know exactly what to say.
I looked across at Liv who had a look of confusion spread across her face. She raised an eyebrow as if to say 'please explain' but I had nothing to explain, George needed to explain.
"Well then" Murron said.
No one replied.
"Should we go get some chips or something?" Murron said.
"I'll come" Shanay replied, getting up quickly.
"Me too" Liv said, getting up and following them.
I was left in silence with Harriet. Not knowing how to start the conversation and if I wanted to know what happened with George and this mysterious person.
"Jess" Harriet started.
"What?" I snapped.
"It wasn't my place to tell you and if you let me expl.." She said.
"You embarrassed me" I shouted, interrupting her. "You let her walk all over me and didn't even tell me".
"But Jess" Harriet pleaded.
"I don't want to talk about it" I shouted, lying back down on my towel.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out my mobile. Scrolling through twitter I'd noticed Union J's followers had increased massively and so had mine.
I replied to a few fans asking about me and George, also to the fans complimenting me.
As soon as I replied, some would fangirl and tweet a load of random letters. I couldn't understand how a tweet off me could make someone excited? I wasn't famous so why did I have this effect on people?
I text Olly asking if the party was still on on Monday and he replied saying that it was. That meant I had to buy a new outfit.
The girls came back with two bags of chips and five ice cream cones.
Liv handed me a strawberry one and squished on my towel with me.
"What's happened then?" she whispered.
"Nothing" I sighed. "I don't even know but I need to hear off George not Harriet".
"Oh god, I'm sure there's a good reason" she whispered. "Anyway, is Olly still throwing that party?".
"Yep" I smiled.
"Great, us two will go shopping tomorrow" she said as she began to demolish her ice cream.
George's POV
Stood on stage with a few other groups was one of the most scariest things I've ever had to do in my life. I stood in between Josh and Jaymi who had a tight grip around my waist.
I could feel my knees shaking and the palms of my hands began to get really sweaty.
"We believe that you three groups are hard working boys that will get far and have a lot of potential" Louis began as his eyes scanned across the three groups stood on stage.
My grip on Josh's waist began to get tighter as I chewed on my bottom lip.
"You have the looks, you have the charm but are your voices strong enough?" Tulisa said, staring right through us.
