The Unexpected Girl

Chapter Two: Recovery

     I woke up in what seemed to be a huge tree, you could fit at least 5 people easily inside. I was laying on a small make shift bed across for the entrance. I was scared and didn't know where I was. I attempted to get up but the pain was too much and I fell onto the floor. I hit the floor with my back and a sharp pain ran through my spine like fire burning form the inside out. Seconds later an elf ran in, the same elf that trained me 5 years ago. He ran in and came to my side and held my head up off the floor. I was barely cautious. 

"Mirabella are you alright? Let me help you up" He stated.

"Yes I'm fine" I replied, I tried moving but I felt that sharp pain surge through my back again and I groaned loudly gritting my teeth.

"You're clearly not okay, I'm going to take care of you don't worry Mirabella. I'm also sorry for leaving you all those years ago."

"That was you, wasn't it? The elf who saved my life and here you are saving it again." I could hardly get the words out of my mouth, I was blacking out again.

"I didnt save you, you saved yourself." He replied as he picked me up and played me back onto the bed.

"But you yo y... " 

"Shhhh" he whispered as I slipped out of cautiousness again.

     I was out cold, I woke up the a few days later feeling a whole lot better but still pretty uncomfortable and dizzy. I sat up on the bed looking around this gigantic tree just thinking to myself about what had happened, how I got here and where did this mysterious elf go.
Suddenly the door burst open and the elf ran in! I screamed not expecting anything, he ran over to me and covered my mouth with his hand.

"Shhhhh there are guatds near by." He whispered in my ear.

"Mhmmmmmmm!" I yelled muffled by his strong yet soft hand.

"Shhhhhhh stop it they'll hear you. You can't go back, I can't lose you!" He whispered aggressively. "Be quiet I'm going to check outside." 

     He got up and left for a minute, it felt like forever to me just waiting for something to happen. But then I realized what he had said.... I cant lose you! What in the world does that mean? HE CANT LOSE ME??? I DONT EVEN KNOW HIS NAME!!!!!!
